I bought a case at 100, regret not picking up more. Funny thing is, I didn't because I like building sets and not getting duplicates and I already had like 3 sets of Terrace. But they provided tons of value for the price.

The 2-3 color per box make it fun. Especially with what Mbappe is bringing and the fact it's a small set.

When I go back and look at it all, I would have to agree with you. I was paying on average $500 per case and had so much fun opening it....I like to think I was way ahead of the game with the soccer market. At the end of the day I'm sitting on about 15 color/refractor Mbappe's and over 65 base. Not too mention all of the color of Messi, Ronaldo, TAA and many others. October-January was some of the most fun I've had collecting cards in a long time!

I sold it And it got paid and shipped.
I put it up there to gauge interest and I got 20+ offers in a few hours.
I had multiple offers $1800 +

I had boxes of Giannis rookie prizm hobby and sold at what I thought was a crazy price ~1.5 years ago. Now I’m the one kicking myself.
I could see this happening with prizm and chrome soccer...

I just didn’t have the staying power to hold for a few more years (plus no major outlets are selling boxes and setting the market)

- Sadio Mane
- Son Heung Min

Salah actually appeared before that in Revolution so thats technically his Hobby RC lol

I knew I was onto something with potential, but never did I realize it would be so huge so fast. I was thinking of holding for a few years to see these kinds of sales. Recent sales of Mbappe have been insane, and following closely behind you see incredible sales of Sancho, Haaland, Felix, Havertz, Foden.. All follow the trend.

I'm glad Bundesliga starts again on the 16th, we may see even more interest in Jadon and Haaland, especially if they play lights out.

sealed 2018 WC Prizm Retail - $349 per box! (I was paying $40 for these 3 months ago)

and this is all the lower end cards, the high end / harder to pull refractors and numbered stuff is going crazy in resale.

I'm glad I bought into soccer early, although I've been buying it since 2014 or so, but I held onto quite a bit this year and am actually able to take part in these crazy resale times, which is a good feeling to help fund other things

Getting a Giannis Silver always covered your cost. Even getting a Giannis base would be considered kind of decent.

At these prices, getting an Mbappe, Messi and CR7 Silver won't cover for one box. Insane.

When something seems to good to be true, it usually is.

Rapid price rises like these with no underlying change in fundamentals (i.e. player performance, level of supply of product, etc.) are classic signs of a bubble.

Ask yourselves if you've ever seen any other type of asset, absent any meaningful change in fundamentals, rise in price this quickly and sustain it?
