I was thinking the same thing.

Another thing that Rick's crew needs to realize that if they don't kill a foe when they have the chance, they will eventually come back for revenge.......... a la Governor and now the cannibals.

I don't think Gabriel is a threat to the group. I think the secret he's hiding is that when everything went bad people tried to take refuge in his church (probably people that he knew) and he wouldn't let them in. That would explain the "you'll burn in hell for this" scratched into the door. He isn't dangerous, just guilt-ridden.

In the comics Gabriel makes the Governor look like a Saint. No way they are going to change that.

decent episode last night, I knew something was gonna happen to Bob....it was literally being shoved in our faces all episode long. I'm huessing he was bit/scratched in the food bank basement. It seems to follow the comic book "tainted meat" line from what I've read.

Did you guys notice that one of the people with Gareth was the guy Tyrese supposedly killed? We never saw him after they came back to the cabin, and Tyrese wouldn't let Carol back in there. I'm guessing he punked out and let him go

Not sure, I was watching Talking Dead, but kinda half assedly paying attention to be honest. Not sure how he would confuse dead with not dead though

All I know is Rick's whole plan of not letting any of the Termites live is starting to sound like a much better strategy

If Bob is the tainted meat storyline, they will either have to go back and explain that and explain how Bob knew he was being hunted in the first place, they really did little to build that up to the point where he would know to do that, unless they are just going to let that be a coincidence?

Also the trees around the church are marked and the trees Morgan is following are marked...so not sure how that ties together.

I'm curious to see what happens if Rick and Morgan get together again...that could go either way I think? Not so sure there is any love between those two at this point?

Consider that gas goes bad after a month or two. Also consider that in the summer heat of Georgia that a decaying corpse would practically disintegrate within weeks. A show with the premise such as Walking Dead asks you to suspend a lot of beliefs and reason.

Obviously in a show about zombies you can't expect things to be totally realistic, but more than anything this is a show about the people. All I ask is that the people not be complete retards.

I looked at it from the standpoint that Terminus was filled with people who have not/could not fight worth a damn. They used their guns more as a form of intimidation rather than being a fully trained force. Between Carol causing all kinds of mayhem and Rick/Glenn/Daryl/Bob breaking free I could see the group escaping Terminus. I thought though that one of them may get killed on the way out but I understand not wanting to kill off one of your main characters in the season premier.

Not sure if this has been covered but it was not the same car that kidnapped Beth. In season 4 it was a white Cadillac and this one looked like a dark colored Dodge Magnum.

just now watched the episode (a day or so behind this season so i have to avoid spoilers).


finally getting the Tainted Meat storyline, which means what follows in the next episode or two (hopefully no more than that, it looks like the writers learned from stretching the Sophia arc for half a season is a bad thing) is going to be utterly brutal. I'm curious to see how much AMC will actually show.

i'm sad that during the ending speech that they didn't actually follow the comics a bit more there, regarding the Bears anecdote.


and yeah, i'm sure the laughing part is coming next, since they showed in the "coming up" sequence them beating Bob.



i have to say though, they couldn't have come up with a worse plan to save Gabriel in the basement. pushing the shelves over ontop of 3 zombies? when they could have easily just slid out the side like Gabe did... made little sense. Obviously it was to allow for Bob to get bitten/scratched whatnot, but still a goofy move for people that have lived as long as Rick's group.
