I really think it is getting really annoying how many people think it is cool to chime in on people's sale threads and complain about pricing on low numbered cards.

People get so spoiled scooping up steals from case breaking junkies. They need to have some common courtesy and just move on if they are frustrated they can't scoop up some amazing cards at a low price. Complaining about the price of an orange auto of ANY player is ridiculous. Go buy some boxes, see how much in costs in wax to even hit 1 orange of any player.

Orange Autos land 1:1788 packs in 2012 Bowman Draft. At $3.50 per pack, thats $4,123 to find one! Plus it is not graded and its not the player you want.

All reason aside, I just want to re-state that is bad form to bad mouth someone's sale thread.

there is a red BIN for 235 on ebay. i cant see how you can justify an orange at 200, im sorry if you yourself overpaid.

I don't have a red. As for that particular red, because I have no reds, I don't have that red in front of me. Don't know what its surface looks like. Can't look at it's corners. Haven't measured its borders. Am not able to refract it to look for dimples or lifting on the edges.

On the other hand, I have the orange. In hand. I've looked at it. I know how it's going to grade. Maybe you should go buy the red?

I saw one for $350 or so the other day graded GEM MT, but my computer went, and I'm just now back on line.

Oh. And I didn't overpay for the Orange. I did quite well, in fact. Took a chance on a raw and it paid off. That's how it goes sometimes.

Ouch. I'd re-submit that if I was the buyer. Centering isn't great, but I have seen worse get a 9.

Yeah, he's going to resubmit. That was ridiculous, especially so because the card itself is one of the cleanest Chromes I've ever seen, bar none, surface wise. I wasn't shocked it pulled a 10, or a 10 on the edges. The 9.5 on the corners I can see -- there was a very very minor overhang of stock on one corner -- but an 8.5 on the centering? That's absurd. I measured the thing.
