FF playoffs start this week for me and a 70 point game from Kyle Pitts when he was projected to get me 15 points is a good way to start.

Anyways...

A team losing back-to-back to suck-ass teams and now have a record of 2-6 in the last 8 games, after starting off the season 5-1, should get any coach fired. Bowles going off on his players is in my opinion 3 weeks too late. He should have called them out publicly after the Rams game.

Now the guy's coaching for his job. The Bucs will need to go 3-0 these final 3 games to have any shot at the playoffs, and I don't see that happening. They're simply mediocre at this point. The team has lost its fire and the defense or whatever you want to call it, is sad beyond words. Even our special teams punt and kick coverage sucks, deep-six the ST coach after the season too.

Surprisingly, the offense is in good shape, although I think we start looking for Baker's replacement during the draft. He's regressed and is playing like old Baker (that INT he threw in the 4th Quarter was inexcusable)

If I'm the Glazers, I start making calls to Jon Gruden and pony up the $$$ to get him back to the team. Personally, I think this has been the plan all along. New direction is needed

On the negative side, its the NFC South and the tallest midget wins. The Bucs went 8-9, had a losing record and won it. Then 9-8 and 10-7.

Well, to be fair it wasn't his work with the Jets that got him the Head Coach position. It was his work as Defensive Coordinator during the Super Bowl year that got him the nod of approval from Bruce Arians and the Glazers to take over after Arians' departure.

You posted this earlier as well. I don't think you know what the expression of hearing crickets means.

The phrase "crickets" means no reaction. Just silence. If you are talking about those running their mouths by being Buc's or Majestik haters. And them rubbing it in after another loss. That isn't hearing crickets at all.

Maybe you are thinking about people chirping?

And a great DC does not a great HC make. Sometimes you don't know that, until you promote one. But with Bowles, he was one. For 4 years. And he kinda stunk.

Some guys just cant run a team.

Well, he was great with the Buccaneers from 2019-2021 is my point. He deserved the promotion to HC/DC at the time.

That time has passed though. I'd be shocked if the Bucs keep him after this season.

In fact, I might consider leaving the forums forever if they keep him around

Thank you Buccs for sticking with Bowles and allowing the Jaguars to land Liam Coen in the cover of darkness. Maybe I regret saying this in a year or so, but right now, Coen is probably my favorite coach we've had.
