I really do think it's my support of the team that's making the difference this year.
Upon the purification of one's motives, I've found that good luck tends to follow.

Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best Record in the AL with +/- 17 players on the IL. It’s crazy to see it

Weird that all three AL division leaders have a 60-42 W/L record this far into the season.

It's like Tommy LaSorda said:

Every team is going to win 60 games and every team will lose 60 games. It's what they do in those other 40 games that makes the difference.

Since the Astros renaissance in 2018 (not counting the strike season), the Houston has basically averaged 38-2 each year in those pivotal 40 games.
That will tend to get it done.

The Astros are rostered by some dudes that wouldn’t see playing time on the white Sox. They have no future in sight for a Yordan and Paredes return. Who cares about pitching when you can’t score more than 2 runs. If they don’t make a move or 3 and get some bats, they’re cooked. Both the mariners and rangers are actually playing good baseball, the Astros are 5-10 in their last 15, not sustainable.

Huge day for the Astros. If they can hold water for two more weeks they should be in really good shape. Trades today also aren’t for short term players. And Astros basically gave up nothing. No matter what happens the rest of the season it was a successful day for Dana Brown

Better than starting Short, Whitcomb, or Matthews right now. Good depth
