Two blasters have sold. The $79 sale could be real, but the $98 sale when plenty of boxes are available for $20 cheaper is suspicious to say the least.

This is ridiculous. It's no wonder why Boxes shoot up in price hours after release.
Fanatics has been doing this to then jack up their own prices through their distribution or
boxes will go up on the Fanatics site to match secondary prices they caused. SMH.

Fanatics knows they can take advantage of addicts, they will slowly release supply well under demand and many people out there simply cannot help themselves and will buy it anyways at any price.

Sure, some can afford it, but most cannot and will just run that credit card debt even higher to make sure they are one of the chosen few to get that Fanatics box.

Looks like the attempted $98 blaster pump didn't work, they aren't moving at $60.

I’m heading to a Walmart and GameStop today on my day off. I will report back if I see these blasters in the wild.

June 16 is only 3 weeks away and the blasters should be pretty plentiful in the wild. Better alternative than paying current breaker prices.

GameStop is actually becoming a pretty decent trading card location. The woman that runs my local GameStop said they really ramped up their offerings over the last few months and they have seen strong interest in people submitting cards to be graded through them as well. If nothing else at least it’s another bricks and mortar outlet to check out beyond Walmart/Target if you don’t have a dedicated local trading card store.

The employee at my GameStop mentioned they will have both hobby boxes ($249.99) and value boxes ($29.99). I will probably try to buy a box or two. The item can’t be reserved for preorder though (at least at my store). So I guess I just wait in line when the store opens on the 16th… which seems a bit nerdy! lol.

Topps posted some pictures of the Frank Miller sketches today on IG. Quite a few of them at least.

Looks like sketches in marvel are going back to the original concept of sketch circa late 90s…like actually quick rough sketches, vs polished works of art more recently. At least from what I’m seeing in this release.

They’ll still sell fine because it’s Frank Miller -drawn and a hard chase in the product. It’s almost analogous to an auto, in the sense of whatever the art even looks like, it’s still done by him. Also with lots of sports coming in to do their thing with this product…the sketches will be treated as big hits regardless whether they even know who Frank Miller is or not, or anything about sketches. Not that I’m buying any of the Marvel Chrome…I’ll happily look at this from a distance.

Besides Miller's, you've seen other sketches that are glorified doodles?

Honestly be shocked if the regular sketches are outside of the norm (some meh, some good, some great, but all higher effort than 2 min remarques).

I’m not following the topps sets that closely. I vaguely remember from the first Marvel Chrome set it was only Miller sketches? Is that still the case or are there non-Millers in this one?

Yea if Topps is getting some of sketch artists from the UD era then I wouldn’t expect doodles.

Much like the first Topps release with Miller, these leave a lot to be desired. The name alone will get them some attention, but those samples Topps showed off--and I say this with all due respect--are quite awful.

What’s funny is that 99.99% of the time I would say no to this because I never know the sku of any card product. However, she actually printed me out a sheet of June Gamestop card products when I joined and I DO actually have the SKUs!

Hobby box… $249.99 sku 426197
Value box… $29.99 sku 426196

I couldn’t preorder but look like I should be able to get a box if FF yesterday was any indication.

Sorry for the extra questions but how did you know they would have it on Monday? I went to a gamestop last week and the guy told me he doesn't see any on the way to their store
