Houston has to win game 2. They did some things well, but they have things they'll need to adjust.

Why the hell is Van Vleet chucking up 19 shots...much less 2/13 from 3...

Huh??

Houston had some chances to steal that one.

Some terrible decisions in the last 5 mins.

Steph was amazing

Everyone talks about Houston's defense, but people seem to have forgotten that the Warriors were the #1 ranked defense in the league after acquiring Butler.

And while the Warriors have the experienced scorers like Curry and Butler to get them points in the clutch, Houston doesn't.

Houston killed the Warriors on the offensive boards and benefitted from some very sloppy Warriors turnovers and still lost by ten.

Top seeds in the East all doing thier things.

Would be surprised if Heat or Magic make it past 5.

What I loved about the Cavs is that every time Spolestra tried something different and it started working, Atkinson had an answer. Something JB Bickerstaff could never figure out. It got so bad that Miami had to convert to double teaming Ty Jerome. Thats bad when you consider the rest of the Cavs roster.

Rockets/Warriors Game 1 went about as poorly for the rockets as you could expect. Sloppy turnovers teamwide, FVV/Jalen both no-shows, Amen playing poorly on offense as well as defense, not much else going on from the other guys except Tari who was able to get some big plays on defense at least.

The silver linings are that Jimmy and Steph both popped off and the Rockets were still within ten points at the end with the rest of the team being relatively contained, Sengun looked fearless, and Steven Adams was an absolute force.

Hopefully Jalen and Amen can get their heads right before Game 2 and settle in. It makes sense because it's their first playoffs with Jalen in year 4 and Amen in year 2 (which is crazy impressive in its own right) but we need the nerves to calm down and get back to what made them successful to begin with.

The Rockets have to expend a ton of energy denying Steph. That’s a lot of the reason none of their guards played well offensively yesterday. They need to be able to find that balance.

As someone above mentioned, the Rockets don’t have a go-to scorer when they really need it. That hurts in the playoffs.

Especially when they're going up against the current #1 defense in the league....

Could good defense produce the following results?

1. Sloppy HOU turnovers
2. FVV/Jalen "not showing up"
3. Poor offensive result from Amen

gritty. Deja vu to last playoff in MSG. Maybe Detroit this year's Pacers.

Brunson is a different player when he doesn't get all the flopping calls.

What does that make this year's Pacers?

They are better than both the teams I see on the floor tonight.

Carlisle played a 10-man rotation last game and I don't think that's an aberration.

Schroeder the new Brunson.

Great win by Detroit. Knicks need to start playing ball before the fourth quarter.

the Knicks traded R.J. Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, five first-round picks, one pick swap, and two second-round picks for Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby.

they could've just signed Tobias Harris and kept Barrett.

Kawhi back to doing Kawhi things.

The red Clippers uni's are giving me flashbacks of the Toronto championship run.

you can feel the desperation sinking in with Denver by how much they're flopping around and looking at the refs for literally every play on each end
