here is what we know about the next set...

The base set is a modest 70 cards. Of those, the first 50 make up the shell set. The final 20 are Young Guns, a subset highlighting top rookies. These land 1:5 packs, which means two per box with some getting a third.

if like this year, the 20 YGs may not be this years draft picks.

not sure how accurate it is, but i can only find one place that has a release date and they say around july 30th. if that is the case, doubtful it would contain this years draft picks

so the next release will NOT be this years draft picks. The young guns class will include Sarah Fillier, Hannah Bilka, Cayla Barnes, Britta Curl, Gwyneth Philips, etc. The players that just got drafted will be in the third set.

Autos seem to be a super tough hit in the second edition boxes. Value is certainly not there. Price increase with a weaker young guns crop. Seems the popularity is still strong, but from what I've seen people are buying less product to open than the first edition.

Not cards but the Barbies are now out at Tim Horton’s Canada. Guessing they will be popular and ok hold even if just to sell to those who don’t have Tim Hortons available
