Trade was going to process overnight anyways. You literally just jumped the gun by 3-4 hours. No big deal from my perspective but in the future you might want to post on the board or in the message app about what you are doing as we all receive emails about setting changes

Was it? Mark Andrews had already played his game. I'm not sure if yahoo changed how they do things, but I've been playing fantasy football there for twenty years and it used to be if a trade was agreed to and any player involved in the trade played a game before the review period was over the trade would not go through until the following week.

I can't see any other reason for pushing the trade through than that it wasn't going to go through (because Andrews had already played) until next week. ...I haven't checked yahoo settings, but there's a chance they changed this rule to allow for a trade to go through if a player remained on a team's bench. But it definitely did not used to make a difference.

Either way, I'm glad we're in agreement that the commish needs to be transparent.

Maybe Yahoo use to handle it like that but you are wrong in this circumstance. Andrews was on his Bench. The fact that he played is irrelevant at that point. If you clicked on the trade it says it processes on Sunday unless somebody was in the starting lineup that had already played. Andrews was not in the lineup therefore the trade processes on Sunday.

if i got a bunch of unexpected emails about settings changes, i’d be understandably confused and wanting answers as well. it is my bad for not giving people a heads up + asking to make sure i can move it through early (which if you can, I could not figure out how).

I think next year it would be easier to just set this up as a Yahoo Pay League. Beats LeagueSafe in my opinion. Only bad thing is they make you wait until Week 18 is over before they pay out, but it's all automatic.

I've ran one two years in a row. You just pay Yahoo your fee and you're done. End of season they'll send out the prizes automatically to your Yahoo wallet, then you can withdraw it.

Only thing I don't know is if they allow the league to be setup with money-game weeks. We'd have to look into it.

I reached out to all the guys in the league with this following message, "If for any reason commissioner is out, I will step up to run it (or if someone else would like too that works for me)ither on espn or keep yahoo. I will have all payments ran through leaguesafe so there's no funny business or nervousness on any of the returning owners. If I do take over, I will ask for everyone's email and/or number, then start 1 group text to touch base with everyone so we can all be on the same page, or even do it through discord or something where everyone has easy access and is comfortable
