You might want to consider waiting for F to drop them because then you'd be able to apply $50 F GCs (purchased for $40 from other sites) to get them for $160 (+ tax, if applicable) shipped and build up some FCash credit too. Although you can't change the past, if you had done it like this, you could've gotten your 5 boxes for the price of 4. |

I only preorder products that I anticipate having a really hard time securing at MSRP. I don't think 2024 TC Tennis will be one of those products because the print-run is HUGE (there's nearly 2000 base parallels for a given base card) and it's still a relatively niche sport. Put shortly, I expect supply to greatly exceed demand. Irrespective of price, I think it's an awesome product for tennis collectors. |

Honestly, with the direction that Fanatics is going, even if group breakers don't want to break certain products, they're probably being incentivized (or punished if they don't) to do so. I'm sure Fanatics will market it too. They're about making money and successful products means more (potential) money for future releases. Products that bomb don't help them. So who knows? One positive is that you plan to rip so you can recoup some cost by listing early. |

Seems you love that set and hate this one lol supply exceeding demand also doesn't mean prices will immediately drop and if you want to rip in a timely manner and not worry about having the money aside when it drops I see no issue pre-ordering. Topps UFC products have been that way and I haven't seen price drops on Chrome or UFC Midnight yet, maybe they still will but again some don't want to wait. Yeah, I mostly bought early because I didn't want to wait. Didn't buy a whole lot - just 5 hobby boxes. Will probably buy into some breaks too.
Topps olympic looked fun, but I'm not familiar enough with all the athletes to consider buying Last edited by Jagsfansunshine; 08-03-2024 at 07:48 PM. |

2024 TC Tennis is a poor value product at MSRP. As expected though, $200 pre-order hobby box prices have already fallen down to as low as $160 per. We'll probably see them fall more over time. I don't hate the 2024 TC Tennis product but the entry price-point is absurd. Applying basic math skills will show you how ridiculous it is. It has all the recipes for a crap product (high price-point which is fortunately falling, overproduction, niche sport, etc). Because supply significantly exceeds demand, wax prices have nowhere but down to go. For anyone who pre-ordered the product that plans to list cards, since you can't get out of your pre-order, you just have to rip and list fast. Single prices are going to drop rapidly (there's nearly ~2000 numbered parallels per base card alone) but the early listing premiums will definitely help recoup funds. |

You’re about to see it in TC Tennis.

I hope you're right - I'd love to grab a few cases on the cheap. The checklist looks strong enough for me and each box is loaded compared to 2021. Thousands of parallels sounds about par for the course nowadays.
I was surprised about how many cases of 2021 were getting ripped. This go around will be a great test for the tennis card demand, which is hard to estimate -- so this should all be very interesting. |

According to Sports Collectors Daily- Venus, Djokovic, and Gauff autos in the Topps Tennis releases. Not specifically noted whether they were all set to be in chrome specifically but was info from the Topps summit earlier this year

If Djokovic/Gauff/Venus autos are included in the set, prices will hold up a lot stronger at $200, that's for sure. |

I’m not going to preorder until it’s confirmed. Would be a mega bummer if preordered and then they aren’t there…

Figured it'd be helpful to document the heavy hitters in one post.
What we know is included: 1. CA autos What might also be included (need sources to verify): 1. Iga 2. Djokovic 3. Venus 4. Gauff 5. Agassi 6. Autos of players from the 2021 TC Tennis: No source but just an assumption of no contractual issues |
