From my male friends we talk about a bunch of random crap. I know my boys got my back through thick and thin. I cannot relate with women when it comes to real life stuff, I just don’t see how you can.

Partially, yes. While she has been in your life for 13 years, seeing you hang out and have another female over has to affect your girlfriend at least a little bit.
