Sparkle packs instead of redemptions?

With Panini losing all their licences I think they are going to give you whatever they have in stock. With their terms they pretty much can give you whatever they want as long as they "feel" it's equal value even if it's not as it's up to them to decide. I would at this point try to get the best replacement I can out of them.

Finally got through to Panini about Triple H - he has apparently told Panini he does not want to sign for them, but "is still contracted to do so", and the rep says that some Triple H stuff has trickled in. In terms of people wanting replacement redemptions, he said more are coming in 2024 and the current inventory is not close to a mega star's value.

So for those of us with Triple H redemptions, it's not promising but it's not hopeless based on that convo I had. So I guess we'll see. I'd still prefer a replacement once they get more in, honestly.

Someone on a fb group alleges they spoke to panini and were told that Rollins is THE ONLY person signing redemptions. That contradicts my convo yesterday with the guy I spoke to, but panini giving differing answers isn't exactly a new phenomenon so...

Almost seems like we can get some type of class action going on with this, I refuse to accept any bs they offer in return for my HHH redemption unless it’s sealed product at this point.

You must be new to Panini products, or products in general.

Go ask Topps about not even inserting cards they advertised were in products and nothing happened let alone just not fulfilling redemptions which has happened with Panini for years lol

With Panini terms on redemptions you pretty much have no power as they outline they can exchange card for pretty much anything they want.

I recently requested some replacements for my redemptions and had some luck and not so much luck. All my redemptions came from breaks or razz wins so was happy to trade out knowing whats going on, anyway here are my results from some email discussions:

John Cena Impeccable /99 replaced with Cena/Styles Dual Prizm Auto /10

Charlotte Silver Prizm replaced with Becky Lynch NT Patch Auto /49

Rhea 2023 Revo base auto replaced with Alexa revo Cubic Auto /49

Cody Prizm Blue /49 replaced with a Garrett Wilson Optic rated rookie /125 (not happy with this one but same value based on comps)

Triple H Impeccable /99 replaced with Dak Prescott Panini One Quad Patch Auto /25 (PC card and was what I asked for as a replacement)

Anyway for those that are wondering what replacements are out there this is what happened after I went through a process of emails etc.

How did you even do that haha did you call them and just happen to get a really nice call center person? I've never even had them respond to my emails before, I've had some luck on the phone reaching a person but they were never helpful. Its rare to find someone that asks for a certain card as a replacement and get it. Anytime I've gotten a replacement from Panini its just whatever they feel like sending me.

I have a Charlotte redemption I don't believe will ever be filled and want a replacement but I totally expect to get a Natalya or NXT person who has already been released lol

Would totally be happy with a Becky or Alexa

I had a list of email addresses that have done the rounds for years, I just emailed them in a nice polite manner from a non standard email domain and after a while I got a reply.

Did get lucky but I know of a few people who are still trying.

Per a wrestling card FB group I'm in, people are starting to receive emails from Panini that Select '23 Stone Cold autos are being filled and sent out asap.

I've also seen mention of Panini attending the Royal Rumble at the end of the month hoping to obtain more signatures for fulfillment.

I certainly don't think this means every outstanding redemption will be filled, and I'm sure we'll probably still end up with plenty of big ones outstanding, but I think those preaching patience in this thread are on the right track. I think there's still a good bit of time to go before we can write these off as hopeless.

If Panini does attend the Rumble, everyone currently still employed should be signing, with the possible exception of HHH if he is "too busy" to do it. its good they worked out something so people aren't just left with useless redemptions and sparkle packs. Austin signing is huge as he was one of the bigger ones that we weren't sure about.

I am 100% sure my Sarray redemption won't be redeemed but I look forward to getting a Sparkle Pack for it in one to four years.

Spoke to a Panini representative today who said they won their litigation against WWE and the stars were contractually obligated to sign their outstanding redemptions. They have representatives going to RAW, and the Royal Rumble to obtain signatures. He specifically mentioned Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Undertaker. He said “Cena is a good signer” so they expect to get him soon too. I asked about Triple H, while he’s obligated to sign, they do not have a timeframe (he should be at every event). Imo, since Goldberg isn’t under WWE contract, I’m not sure we will ever see his unless Panini has a contract in place. Hope this helps some that have been waiting.

Ive mentioned before but I still wonder if I'll get that dang Charlotte redemption I have left. This was from when she was on sabbatical and didint sign, she came back and didnt and now shes on the shelf again- understandably probably concentrating on her rehab more than anything else

If they did make a deal it makes sense they are signing as it likely means atleast Donruss Elite will be able to be released which given it's Panini will 100% have redemptions and while they already soured a lot of people no one will buy it if so many names are still outstanding from previous products redemptions and it's still in WWE's interest that the product actually sells.

I’m glad I’ll probably be getting my Rhodes/Orton dual and all the rest of their redemptions. However, I’m almost positive I’ll never see my HHH/Batista/Orton triple.

Only hope there could be Batista going into the Hall of Fame this year, I’ve assumed my auto of his wouldn’t happen either just cuz he’s always traveling and never around wwe anymore. Even then HHH may be difficult, feels like it’s a personal thing with him at this point to continue to not sign.
