Bringing us to the OP, who wanted cash back on the agreed upon shipping and handling.

So yes, "So many people try to extort money from sellers like this". Just like I said.

You can be rude all you want. It doesn't make your take on all this correct.

And if you are this hopped up over a differing opinion on shipping fees, I can only imagine how miserable your life must be.
Here's what you said. This is tiresome as you are not comprehending the dispute while claiming everyone else is "hopped up" on something.

The seller took it like a champ. Offer to not only eat the shipping they paid to mail. But offered a full refund (including said shipping) and to eat the shipping back.

So many people try to extort money from sellers like this. And this seller is going by the book, and offering to take it back, instead of agreeing to a partial. Which is what the OP was fishing for all along.
Reads a lot like you accusing OP and others complaining of this practice as "extorting money from sellers".

Honestly, if that's your view, nobody needs you selling anything in this hobby.

Edit: And while we haven't seen OP's message to the seller, the seller already admitted to lying about his "cost to ship" being $4.50 when he paid $0.57 to ship.

I am not saying everyone else is hopped up. I am saying only you are, as you seem to be getting even angrier over this.

And yes, for sure, If the OP saw, agreed and paid the shipping fee. Then demanded the seller give him money back (even though there was zero harm done). They were extorting money from the seller.

And the buyer that demanded 43 cents back from jlzinck and the buyer that wanted a free mag holder from mike1498 are all in the same class of snowflakes.

Clearly you have issues with others seeing these things from a different perspective. And thats OK! We don't have to agree. Just don't let it stress you out like this. Its not that serious Dude.

All this and nobody ever actually looked at the listing.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/144767926293

The screenshot of the OPs second message made me realize something. He made no mention of First Class shipping and instead referred to it as standard shipping while giving the seller 1 day to comply before leaving feedback(feedback extortion per Ebay rules) and reporting him to ebay

I didn't see a reply to the request, so for anybody wishing to block the OP, his eBay ID is: rjp1398

Maybe it's in the thread somewhere.....

What are the chances OP got the card and a refund from the seller. Feedback was left for another seller. We all know that ESE shipping doesn't update. I've had stuff where I sent ESE with no movement but got positive feedback from the buyer after they got it.

Won this card for $0.99 on 07/26/22 and paid $6.04 immediately ($0.99 + $4.60 for shipping). On the day the card was meant to arrive (08/03/22), I sent the seller a message asking for a tracking number or a refund. The seller updated the listing with an eBay standard envelope tracking instead of the standard shipping that I paid for, and the tracking never updated once, so I was issued a full refund on 08/10/22 after I had to have eBay step in for me. Avoid this thief at all costs!
