3 years 60 million dollar extension for Chris Godwin. Way to lock him up long term and lower that cap hit extensively. Just saved like 13-14 million on this years cap hit

Yep and the retructuring of Mike Evans', Vita Vea's and Shaq Barrett's contracts certainly frees up more cap space. Heck, even Cam Brate agreed to a pay cut.

I am really liking the signing of Russell Gage and Breshad Perriman coming back for another year makes total sense.

I'm predicting Gronk re-signs with the Bucs tomorrow or over the weekend.

Good news all around at One Buc Place.

Yeah honestly Gronk signing officially is just a formality at this point. Odds are the contract is already agreed to, they’re just waiting for when they have enough cap space to finalize it

Packers trading Davante Adams is pretty big. Now Rodgers won’t have his go to WR. Bucs looking better each day

Btw I’m really hoping Watson ends up in Atlanta. Don’t want him anywhere near New Orleans

Jones isn't the same anymore. I don't expect much from him, but he's probably still a little bit better than some of the other WRs not named Evans and Godwin.

I doubt Julio signs with the Bucs.

1. It would have to be the veteran minimum

2. He’s signing to be a 3/4 which I doubt he wants

Would highly highly doubt he ends with the Bucs

Still waiting for Gronk and Lenny. I'm sure they don't need to be in a huge hurry for Gronk, but I hope they don't mess around too much before Fournette signs with another team. I saw NFL Network had him ranked as the 63rd top free agent. That just seems ridiculous to me. I know RB's aren't valued near as high as they used to be, but he is a true game changer IMO.

Fournette supposedly wants top 5 RB money, Bucs don’t have the cap space for that

Yeah, that’s not going to happen.

He's crazy.

Currently the RB Bucs Depth Chart:

Leonard Fournette
Ronald Jones II
Gio Bernard
Ke'Shaun Vaughn
Kenjon Barner

Unfortunately Vaughn and Barner are the only backs currently under contract for 2022.

I fully expected RoJo to be shown the door a'la OJ Howard but it may be tough to let him go if Fournette wants too much money.

Maybe the Bucs would be wise to make an offer to RoJo and just let Fournette walk

More than Fournette, also no way the Panthers trade him to a division rival.

Not like the Panthers are competing for anything soon. But point taken. It would be ridiculously costly.

Lenny back at 3 years for 21 million. Incentives can push it to around 24 and 9 is guaranteed. I'm happy with the deal. There was no way he was getting the 12 million per year he was looking for and I feel like this is a solid middle ground.

Pretty sure he comes back. I'm also seeing reports Brady is courting Edelman.

I could be wrong but I think he’s just working out with him. All of a sudden the Bucs kind of have a logjam at WR. Not that a few aren’t expendable in some regard but surely a couple don’t make the 53 man.

This alone is assuming they don’t draft a guy who seems like good value at a certain pick or sign yet another guy e.g Julio:

Evans
Godwin (who may very well be questionable to start the year)
Gage
Johnson
Perriman
Miller
Grayson
Darden

Very happy about Lenny, he’s key to helping Brady.

Gronk will be back, him signing is just a formality.

Edelman isn’t gonna happen lol

Yeah, this is why I never really got the Julio talk. With the money they paid to Gage, Julio at best would be the #4. Then they just resigned Perriman and they always talk about how much they like Johnson. Just seems unnecessary this the stage of his career that Jones is in.
