I do not read that to be a stand alone product. i read it to mean those players will have the cup on their cards in the flagship product. Of course I’d take a rookie cup product that mirrored the baseball one.

Spot on. Like I've mentioned previously. It's a football release for baseball fans, and I really wish Topps would stop doing this.

Previous behaviour being Montgomery Club releases and the upcoming (pointless) Rookie Cup.

i don’t believe there is “rookie cup” product. the rookie cup they were referencing was putting the cup on the flagship cards similar to baseball.

I spoke to BJ's again, and this time they told me that they are sold-out online because of "high demand" for the item.

So what does that mean exactly? They are going to keep them to in store only? They had them online and bots took them all or what?

i know you’re worked up over the bj’s angle here but you gotta relax lol. the person you are talking to at BJ’s doesn’t know any more than you. they see online it says sold out and are trying to get you off the phone.

there is not and has not been one single blaster on ebay. if bj’s had them there would be boxes available for resale. they’ll very likely pop up on the website randomly in the next few weeks.

April 13 is still the date I'm seeing, but I'm sure it could be pushed back. Chrome is also still showing on April 27 but I can't imagine that will hold.
