I’ve been following Allen’s prices on EBay and trying to decide if I want a Prizm or colored Optic RC. I typically think that Prizm is slightly more desirable that Optic, but the Optic’s seem to be selling the same or a bit better than the Prizm......what is everyone’s thoughts on which one is better investment wise?

I would say Prizm but it’s whatever you really prefer.

Do a base prizm PSA 10 and find a cool color optic to get as well. I would bet that by the time next season rolls around and he is on the cover of Fantasy Football magazines as potential QB1 you could sell one of them to pay for the other

Wanted to jump in and show off a couple recent pickups. Got an Allen mini helmet to go along with my Kelly and Thurman ones for my basement.

I must admit I don’t know much about collecting football cards as I’m mainly a baseball collector but as a lifelong Bills fan, I had to pickup a nice Allen RC. Bought this when prices dipped after the AFC title game. Doing a little research, including this thread, it appears the prizm and optic are his rookies to own, right? Any others worth targeting this off-season? Appreciate any feedback and tips! Thanks.

very nice! I would say a PSA 9 or PSA 10 contenders rookie ticket is also a must

His red #/99 Contenders auto is my favorite of the ones I own. When the card color matches the team colors, it can look really fantastic, and that card is a prime example of that.

Just checked out a few on eBay. Great looking card! Definitely will keep my eye out on prices this off-season.

Allen mention at the end of the Gary Vee portion in Goldin Instagram video on the state of market the other night. Said Allen looked legit and it makes you think Allen and even Mahomes are going to look very underpriced all things considered when Lawrence stuff starts coming out. Would be big if he was picking up Allen stuff. Probably not as a Jets fan though.
