I picked up a Benintendi for a FRACTION of the initial cost, seller was just trying to recoup what they could, I watched these Auto's drop by greater than 50% over the course of 6-8 months,

The Jeter picture they used was great, unfortunately they know that there is a certain segment of 'buyers' willing to pay their PREMIUM cost.

I pretty sure that I can get this card signed at a private event (if allowed) and pay 40-50% less then what they charged.

And it has RC logo on it.

Wow Luis Robert autos already? Looks like he's going to have a TON this year. Have they ever made a RC logo auto so early in the year?

I don't think so, but pretty much same with Ohtani and Vlad.
All the guys had RC autos confirmed prior to their actual debut.

Ya but not available for sale in January. This is so early to be starting RC autos. Even Vlad was a mystery auto in rtod sets and confirmed later

Yes, Robert is extra early.
My point was that regardless of "how early", Topps have made exception with some players to give out the RC logo prior to debut.

I’d say the Reds have to be the favorite at this point. Haven’t seen any official Vegas odds but they’ve had a great offseason. It’ll be nice to see some new teams like the Reds and White Sox be interesting to watch for the first time in a while.

I absolutely love the/99 version of the Luis Robert card that just sold out. The uniform and background color seem perfect, like they are meant for one another!!!

I think the 2020 Topps NOW card of Luis Robert to have will be the Return to Opening Day auto of him. Hopefully a similar pose with same nice matching background color on the /99 but with the wording, beneath his name, similar to "OF • WHITE SOX".

Kinda how they did in 2019, see below for reference
