I’m anticipating a Mariano Rivera card next week for the HOF announcements, hopefully an auto. Let’s hope the team at Topps gets their ish together on this website before then.

I’m all for making changes and improving things, just need to pick up the pace a bit here.

Ohtani was given out to 2017 members at 2018 Summit.

Will Vlad Jr be given out at 2019 one for 2018 members?

A Mariano Topps Now(like they did for Mattingly/Bench/Sandberg) would be pretty epic from the day he retired. Or even a Mariano/Jeter/Pettitte tripled signed Retro Now card from that day. Just gonna leave that here... Any of these images would do! :-)

Well damn, I guess I didn't make Platinum this year. I didn't think I would, but I thought *maybe* there was a shot after I went big pretty much the entire year on offerings. If I didn't reach it last year, I don't suppose I ever will. Oh well.

Vlad Jr has not signed for awhile and I imagine Topps does not have a contract with him. I do hope they get a contract by the time he makes his MLB debut.

If you dont mind asking, how much did you spend last year? Just trying to see there the threshold is for joining the platinum club.

Just kind of a quick estimate by looking at my 2018 Paypal figures: around $40k. However, this is combined purchases from both Topps and eBay. My direct Topps purchases probably don't even get me close to Plat status. Not a big deal as I wouldn't have gone to any of the events anyways, but I'm always jealous of the free cards they get.

Good catch. And I was trying to figure out which card had a 108 print run, but I think the lowest were Holaday and Realmuto at 109.

Also I think the total number of base cards is wrong. It says 960, but there were 959 plus 16 extra Ohtani cards, unless I am missing something.

I am going to take their word on the 3,690 total unique cards, though!

I will say it again...this is a huge headwind. People are not used to paying sales tax on cards when they buy on line. I know I avoid some sellers on ebay just because they are in Ohio and charge sales tax to me for also being in Ohio.

Also the price of Platinum just went up a few thousand.

Lets say its $40,000 to be Platinum

For me that would be an additional $2,700 in sales tax. (6.75%)

8.25% is an extra $3,300
