To me the wide open ones are a matter of confidence. I think he can and should knock those down. My point was that under even the slightest defensive pressure, his shots are way off, or worse, he can't even shoot without getting blocked.

I don't think there's any doubt that his confidence is shot.

With not getting his shots off.. his release seems to take forever. Seems like his whole game is filtered through molasses.

Hell, Giannis averaged 5 points and 3 rebounds a game after 15 games. He couldn't even get on the floor some nights...

That is a different scenario though. Giannis shot 50% (31 for 62) from the field his first 15 games and he was only coming off the bench. 0 starts in his first 15 games and only averaged 16 minutes a game during that span. Giannis didn't struggle at all like Lonzo did shooting his at the start of his career

"Ben Simmons could miss his next 134 shots and still have a higher FG% than Lonzo."

Tatum will be the best player out of this draft class.

I like Tatum, Dennis Smith, or Mitchell (he's been much better over last 10 games averaging 19 ppg on 43% shooting, not an awesome percentage but better than the Lonzo like shooting he had earlier).

Kuzma seems like a really good player but I'm not sure if he'll ever be a superstar...I like D'Aaron Fox but Sacramento is trying the weird tough love start veterans strategy and it isn't working out.

I'm selling any Lonzo prizm parallels I get, I don't think he's very good...the absolute ceiling he has is Jason Kidd imo and he has no hobby love, even LA can't save that long term.

La would take a HOFer I would guess

So you think Lonzo has the ceiling of a HOFer, and being a HOFer on the Lakers would bring no hobby love? Well....that's......interesting logic.

Then what about his free throw shooting? Or are you gonna make another excuse, lol

He's pretty similar to Elfrid Payton in stats in his rookie season. Pedestrian performance for a 1st rounder...but having seen his game up close, I can say that right now, he's not even the same player, confidence-wise, that I saw in high school and college.

It's not a straightfoward analogy, but there's a guy named Austin Barnes on the Dodgers. Pedestrian performance in the minors, but he played smart. Against their better judgment, the Dodgers called up Barnes early...and he has been playing like he belongs in the league ever since. I think Ball just needs some time in the league.

I get what you're saying, OP, but then again, not many guys rebound into superstardom after spending time in the G-League. I wouldn't do it if I was the Laker management. Yeah, I guess some pros punking on you might damage a player's ego, but Derrick Coleman dunking on Shaq didn't make Shaq a terrible player thereafter. Hell, Shawn Bradley got dunked on all the time and he was a decent center in the league.

Because he was a #2 pick, he could be the worst player in the next decade, he will still have a roster spot. A better player gets undrafted but has one season when his stats are a little bit down, he will be cut straight away....

hahahahah He kept crying because I called him out on being a PBM. He even bet me some AD auto card that he wasn't. The dude was blocking out the serial numbers on his cards. It couldn't have been any more obvious

I reported him a couple days ago and there was no IP match, he must've slipped up. Now I'm curious which PBM he was.

Can we finally be honest about the OP?

How long before he comes back as someone else?

Maybe his new handle will be Embiid...

He's had like 5+ accounts already so he'll be back for sure.

He's obviously an idiot so I'm sure he'll get himself banned within a couple weeks again.
