I picked up a couple new Harper's recently, a blue prizm auto (Cavs uni), great looking card, imo, with the contrast in the colors, and a Flawless acetate auto. I'm sure you have them, but I'll have to get a scan to show you.

Happy hunting!

I am always looking for flawless cards of his! What did you find and where did you find it?

Unless you mean immaculate.... you probably mean immaculate as all of Harper's flawless cards are patch or patch autos and not acetate. In that case I think I have both the ones you do and am not really looking for duplicates of panini stuff unless they are non-Trim patches, jersey numbered, or print run /10 or less. I'm much less picky wiTh pre-panini cards, however, due to condition, overall appeal to me personally and bgs registry

Oh, I'm sorry. It was Immaculate, don't know where Flawless came from.

I PC certain former Bulls players, and Harper is one of them. I don't have many, and they're all low-end (I got the two mentioned for less than $10 shipped), but I enjoy them.

I really enjoy your thread, lol.

Harper cards in general can be picked up pretty cheap now that panini mass produced his autos. There is a bulls on card auto /10 that has been sitting on ebay for over a month for 20$ with no takers (Luxe). I might add that if I get desperate for an April pick up.... I feel like I'm going through withdrawal after an killer start to the year with some additions I've been very very excited about, April has just been a no hitter.

April 2017

Very slow month for me. Just got one card to show off.

1) 2015-16 Panini National Treasures Lasting Legacies Jersey Auto Prime 3/25
This is my third patch from this run /25. It's not a great patch; I think it's from the C in the cursive Clippers logo on the front of the jersey. I went over on my budget in January and March, so when nothing spectacular popped up in April, it actually got me back on track with my budget for the year There were a handful of nice cards on eBay, they were just very overpriced and I passed. Nothing I absolutely needed...

This slow mail month took unbelievable restraint by me.... LOL. I may be addicted...

Only slightly revised, based on DSM-IV....

Addiction (termed substance dependence by the American Psychiatric Association) is defined as a maladaptive pattern of 'collecting' leading to clinically significant impairment or distress, as manifested by three (or more) of the following, occurring any time in the same 12-month period:
1. Tolerance, as defined by either of the following:
(a) A need for markedly increased amounts of 'Ron Harper cards' to achieve
the desired effect
or
(b) Markedly diminished effect with continued 'collection' of the same amount of 'Ron Harper cards'.
2. Withdrawal, as manifested by either of the following:
(a) The characteristic withdrawal syndrome for 'collecting'
or
(b) The same (or closely related) 'player/set' is 'collected' to relieve or avoid withdrawal symptoms.
3. The 'collecting' is often taken in larger amounts or over a longer period than intended.
4. There is a persistent desire or unsuccessful efforts to cut down or control 'collecting'.
5. A great deal of time is spent in activities necessary to obtain the 'Ron Harper cards' (such as visiting multiple 'websites' or driving long distances 'for card stores/shows'), 'admiring the Ron Harper Cards' (for example,
'taking pictures of the cards'), or recover from its effects.
6. Important social, occupational, or recreational activities are given up or reduced because of 'need to search ebay for Ron Harper cards'.
7. The 'collecting of Ron Harper cards' is continued despite knowledge of having a persistent physical or psychological problem that is likely to have been caused or exacerbated by the 'collection' (for example, current 'collecting' despite recognition of 'collecting'-induced 'collecting hole' or continued 'collecting' despite recognition that an ulcer was made worse by 'collecting').

I don't have them all.... but 3 in the last 12 months.... uh oh...

May 2017

Alright! After a lame month of April, May was back to normal!

5) 2013-14 Panini Intrigue Dual Auto Prime 9/10 (sort of jersey numbered)
This was a duplicate that I got because it was chicago jersey numbered... I also liked the patch.

4) 2015-16 Panini National Treasures Night Moves Jersey Auto Printing Plate Magenta #28 1/1
3) 2015-16 Panini National Treasures Night Moves Jersey Auto Printing Plate Black #28 1/1

There were at least 16 plates released for Harper in this year's release of NT. 3 from NT and 1 from Luxe. I think that is it, but it is possible he has 3 other sets (Court kings and Immaculate). Please keep your eyes out for these for me! They tend not to get individual listings...

2) 2000-01 Topps MVP Promotion #172 (100 produced)
Player collectors know, these are SOO tough to track down! I was so happy when Wingy messaged me out of the blue and offered to send me this card! What a guy!! Now the only MVP promotion card I need is the 1999-00 version.

1) 2011-12 Panini Past & Present Gamers Jersey Prime #80 /5
Great big bulls patch from an iconic (in terms of Panini anyways) set.

This card is a HUGE addition for me! It is the rarest card from his playing days that I own (only 5 with smaller print runs, including four 1/1s). He only has 2 jersey patches from his playing days; this one and the non-refractor /25. I took more than 1 picture because I was so excited and wanted to show it off in all its glory!

I think especially for players that finished their careers by the early part of the 2000's, patch cards (and even jersey cards) issued during their playing days are very underrated.

Beautiful cards, as always. I LOVE that Topps Chrome Final Piece #/10 from your April post; that is undoubtedly a gorgeous card and extremely tough to find.

working on making my June update, but had to go through and change all my old photobucket photos to flickr due to the photobucket implosion. More to come.

June 2017

This was a quantity over quality month as there were not any reasonably priced monsters for sale.

5) 1998-99 Skybox Molten Metal Xplosion PSA 10
This card is made of metal, pretty cool 90s card. Another card for my PSA registry or one that I may some day convert for my BGS registry.

1998-99 Skybox Molten Metal Xplosion #22 PSA 10 by Mark Miller, on Flickr

4) 2015-16 Panini Gala Signatures Director's Cut, jersey numbered 9/10
I've started adding more of the jersey numbered cards if I can find them for a low price. An on-card auto in Bulls uni /10 at auction going for $15 fits that bill!

2015-16 Panini Gala Signatures Director's Cut #49 9/10 by Mark Miller, on Flickr

3) 2010-11 Panini National Treasures (5 card jersey numbered lot)
A poster here on the forums, Clippersboy24, had been going for this rainbow years ago, but was looking to move it. He contacted me several years ago, but I wasn't really interested in duplicates at that time. As I've started looking for jersey numbered cards when a month is coming to an end and I'm under budget, I reached out to him and he still had the cards. The card number is on the back, so I will just give a sample photo of one of them, but here is a list of the ones I got:
- 4/99 Base
- 4/99 Autograph
- 4/99 Autograph jersey
- 4/25 Patch
- 4/25 Autograph Patch

The card has a base and 11 parallels (base /99, silver /10, gold /5, platinum /1, jersey /99, patch /25, tag /1, auto /99, auto /1, jersey auto /99, patch auto /25, tag auto /1). So now for a really sweet rainbow including all possible jersey numbered cards all i need is: base /1, auto /1, jersey 4/99, and gold 4/5. Let me know if anyone sees these cards!!!

2010-11 Panini National Treasures Signature #183 4/99 by Mark Miller, on Flickr

2) 2000-01 Topps Final Piece FP6
Finally completed my Final Piece rainbow! I had previously gotten the chrome /25 and chrome refractor /10 but was missing the base... my most frustrating near rainbow. I actually made a post titled something like "cards you should be able to find, but cant" about 1 week before this card popped up on eBay, and of course this card was number 1 on my list! I'll have to take a group shot in the near future!

2000-01 Topps Final Piece FP6 by Mark Miller, on Flickr

1) 2015-16 Panini Printing Plates:
- 2015-16 Panini Luxe Black
- 2015-16 Panini NT Lasting Legacies Magenta
- 2015-16 Panini NT Night Moves Cyan
- 2015-16 Panini NT Colossal Jersey Auto Magenta

I know lots of folks aren't very fond of plates, so I grouped these all into 1 category. Harper has less than 100 1/1's including plates, so to get 4 in a month was very cool. Shoutout to SteelBrad for helping me acquire the Colossal Magenta Plate and to DeadSpin for giving me a heads up on the Night Moves Cyan plates!!! I now have 6/16 plates that were released in this years NT. Weirdly, I managed to get 1 plate from each of the plate sets this month. Still looking for the other 10, and only 1 plate away from the Night Moves Rainbow, so hit me up if anyone sees any of these please!!

You finally found the Final Piece jersey! Was it an ebay purchase?

Some of those surprise me how rare they are. I've seen some A.C. Green Finals cards go for ridiculous prices, too.

Thanks! Not a flair masterpiece, but not too shabby! Harper actually only has 25 Chicago bulls patch only cards with just him. 5 from this set, 10 from 12-13 timeless treasures, 10 from 12-13 limited. The past and present gamers card is by far the biggest patch window, plus the card has a simple but appealing design.

July 2017 Mail Month!

Man I wish I could have gone to the National! From all the recap threads it really seems like I missed out on a good time. Luckily, I had some friends looking out for me while there and it didn't sound like I missed much for my PC by not going. Still had a solid month though, thanks to some great members here!

5) 1989-90 Fleer #27 PSA 10
I actually snagged 2 of these this month. The centering on these cards are horrendous typically, so finding one in PSA 10 is tough. The edges also tend to have issues with color bleeding... Centering is not quite perfect on these, but still fairly good on the one on the left.

4) 2014-15 Panini Flawless Patches 17/20
This is a duplicate, but I'm trying to get as many flawless patches as I can find. Based on the orientation of the threads on the patch, I believe this is the upper left quadrant on the "4". I've got a decent chunk of the jersey number from this flawless patches, so nice to add another one at a poverty price!

Here's the other number patches I have from the set:

3) 2015-16 Panini National Treasures Lasting Legacies Jersey Auto Printing Plate Yellow 1/1
This is actually the only card I got this month that I did not own a copy of already! This is my 14th plate, meaning I own 25% of Harper's plates now. Still looking for black and cyan to finish the rainbow. Let me know if you see them!!

2) 2012-13 Panini Timeless Treasures Perennial Materials 5/10
Duplicate bulls patch only; as stated in my last post, there are actually only about 25 of these types of cards made thus far. I've started adding more patch duplicates as it is becoming harder and harder to find new cards to add to my collection.

1) 1998-99 Metal Universe Precious Metal Gems 50/50
Thanks to the27guy for finding this card a new home. This is by far the most I've ever spent on a duplicate, but it is really cool to have the last serial numbered card of this very high end 90s set! Card also looks to be in great condition!

I just wish they were all as easy to work with as you. Glad you got them. Hopefully it's an upgrade at least. Pretty nice for one of those.

I will let you know if I find any others.
