Question:

I see some posters above mentioning discounted fees for submissions that weren't added by the due date. Is this accurate? If so, what's the discount? I have 449 that were due yesterday, and have had zero processed so far.

Edit: All are current year basic.

I have 1000 cards due today, exactly 0 has processed. This is shocking to say the least.

I disagree. Having the card number is critical to getting the card listed. Serial number is a nice to have, but player name is also critical. Having cards uploaded with [Missing] in the title doesn't really count as uploaded.

Wouldn't mind delays if it was advertised as such, but if I have to find out via a message board, then I have a problem.
I requested a shipment on the 3rd. I received an email today (the 14th), telling me that the order had shipped. When I plugged the tracking number into the USPS system, it said that the label had been printed, but the package had not been taken to the Post Office.

So, 12 days down and it still hasn't been shipped.

While I hear you, then why expand into the auction side of things if you don't have the labor to support it? That is called stupid business.

That's why everyone was laughing about the COMC email offer to orders that were about to go over for 20% off your processing fee in exchange for an extra month to process them. Nobody was going to accept that offer if they knew the alternative was half off.

Shipping delays are getting out of control.
This is costing me money and business
I’m sick of it. I paid for a service. Comc should refund shipping charges if they don’t meet their dates

That is their MO when they are having issues in other places they decide instead of trying to fix them they take on new features. Then as usual their board representative disappears when the tough questions start getting asked.

Yes 50% off. Although they missed 2700 of mine due on the 12th and now processing only like 20 a day. I think most of the overdue stuff is getting pushed way back so they can get caught up with the current batches due so everybody’s batch doesn’t become half off.....maybe?

Don't give the percentages too much credit - they're a holdover from the old means of processing cards, when COMC would work on submissions individually - as each submission went thru the system, the percentage would be a pretty accurate reading as to when your cards would be ready for pricing.

Now, with the way they process/identify cards - the percentages are harder to define and aren't as accurate as they used to be. You'll still see it hit 100% when your submission is complete but you can't read too much into it until that happens.

Had received last few orders missing an item, just received today’s order from them and it is completely wrong.....not a single card from my order was in the package, instead of receiving a package with $100-250 cards in it, I got one with some $20 cards in it. Comc is doing very well lately

Most of my submission that was due 2/13, 414 of 449, has been added tonight. Did get the 50% discount.

Hope everyone else waiting on their (late) submissions were added tonight as well.

Ouch, that's awful.

Hope the person who received your items is honest enough to return them to COMC.

The last time I ended up purchasing from them, I ended up with 2 duplicate cards. I have purchased thousands of cards before and this never happened until last month.

When I search by a particular player, I begin at lowest price and work my way up on cards I don't have. I chose one card and then I guess it is immediately taking it out of that price range and offering the next price range later on in the search? It never used to do that until you actually purchased the lot. I know because I have had to go back and add cards before final purchase because someone else chose the same card and purchased prior to me finalizing.

If this is what they are doing with searches, it really sucks now.

They have been doing that for awhile. I find it annoying also.

Good to know. That was the first time I had purchased cards from them in almost 2 years. I guess I'll have to pay more attention to that from now on. Its not an easy thing to do when you are buying commons and some parallels up to $100 in an order.
