What should give the Celtics hope is that in 2016 the Warriors had a 3-1 lead in the finals and lost 3 straight (including 2 at home) to the Cavaliers.

They don't have Lebron, but at least there's a history of beating the Warriors this way.

With that said, the Warriors were in exactly this position against the Cavs in 2015 (home court advantage tied 2-2 after winning on the road in game 4) and won in 6.

Need to understand the context of what happened then.

Draymond was suspended for game 5, Bogut was injured for games 6 and 7 and Iguodala hurt his back in game 6. Those were key defenders for the Dubs (particularly in the paint and/or guarding LeBron).

The current Dubs are healthy (enough to play) with the exception of Wiseman but he hasn't played since last season so he's a non-factor at the moment.

Not saying that it's not possible for the Dubs to lose because that's certainly a possibility. But circumstances in 2015-16 were pretty unique. To relate to the current team, it'd be like Draymond being suspended again for another game in the series, Looney being injured for games 6 and 7, and Wiggins playing with a hurt back in games 6 and 7. Statistically, this would be a possibility too but it'd be unlikely.

All things being relatively even, the main difference is that the Celtics have about a 5 year average age difference from Warriors.

Thanks. I think GSW are a value at -140 to win the series.

I took a +155 bet when the Dubs were 0-1 (in addition to two pre-playoff CHIP bets on the Dubs) but I don’t know if I’d take the -140 bet.

Hope it works out if you do though, for the both of us haha.

It would be a blessing for GS now if Draymond got suspended lol

What needs to happen for TNT to get the Finals coverage? I know Chuck would be upset because it would cut into his vacation, but I can’t take much more of the ESPN coverage.

So much nicer watching this game a golden state. Such a cleaner looking environment not nearly as many mongloids in the stands.

Where is Pete with his Mr. Invisible pic? Has Tatum even touched the ball yet?

Payton not touched, tripped over his own two feet, not in the act of shooting.

These are the best refs the league has?
Ball clearly off Curry, giving them an extra possession, and T up the coach for protesting that (without seemingly doing much to earn it)?

I know it difficult to understand after watching the refs in leppy land. But when a player shoots the ball and another player grabs his arms and swats him thats a foul. Both teams get those calls not just the team that wheres green from America's armpit.

exactly. Draymond does more after every call. Double standard.
