Some always lag - one seller I buy from can take weeks to get to the box, but I do have 3 outstanding - 2 from that lower seller that we’re marked filled 2/17 and 2/25 - and another that was supposedly filled 2/17. I have t had anything added to my box this month. I was planning on getting it sent to me when these last 3 orders arrive

They get backed up at times checking them in. I noticed one box order I sent was marked as delivered, but after a few days I never received a message telling me they checked it in. I sent a message about it and the response was essentially we're busy, we'll take care of it. It got in there a few days later.

This thread has been very quiet as of late. How are sales going for everyone? Slow but steady here for me lately. Hope everyone is doing well.

Still a pending box order out there for me from like 2/26. Something I ordered in the meantime already arrived and was entered. I started with Sportlots and they had me contact the seller (just contact, not file an issue). I wouldn't be as concerned but the last one I bought from this seller was shipped and entered within 2 weeks.

With help from my 6k 2022 Topps S1 cards that I loaded up the last 2 days, I should clear $750 this month. Maybe more if I can get some other sets in.

The first two weeks of this month were booming, but things have really slowed down over the past week. Hoping things pick up at the end of March here!

How does hockey sell for everyone? Was thinking about ripping some UD S1, but was curious if I'd be able to move base that I don't want to keep. Just curious - thanks for any responses!

How long should I wait between sending the seller a question and filing an "issue"? My box orders from 2 weeks ago have been entered, but the one from 2/26 is still out there, and I am on day 3 of no response. I know different sellers handle things differently, but seems like a one-month cycle is enough time.

Edit: tried to look at this seller's profile and they are "on vacation". Should I still file the issue or keep waiting? I promise I am trying not to be a nuisance buyer...

Sorry for double bump, but interesting development... I messaged Sportlots about the seller being on vacation, and whether I should go ahead and file the issue... they said the seller had been "on vacation" for about a month, so they went ahead and credited me. Evidently there's no sign of my order? Does this warrant negative feedback? Very odd because as I stated earlier, the same seller had my stuff in the box within 2 weeks.

I'm not sure if yours does or not but I find it frustrating that Sportlots allows orders after a seller has put there store on vacation mode. If they had a 2-3 day time frame on pending payments, no big deal. I have one from 14 days ago, with that time frame no seller could ever go on vacation mode.

I can definitely see frustration from both seller and buyer sides. I'm not looking forward to the seller's response if/when they see my message, assuming the money gets taken from the seller and not Sportlots's pocket. No idea how that works. But, I'm not sure why the order was marked "fulfilled" and then the seller disappears and no sign of the item at Sportlots.

It was also frustrating that I couldn't use the resulting credit against my Box shipment postage.

I have gotten an unusually high amount of box orders over the last 3 days. Is anyone else experiencing that?

Same here. I'm not sure what really tilted things that way (perhaps coincidence), but its good to see more buyers starting to utilize the function that in my opinion is beneficial to both buyer and seller.

Anybody looking to buy sportlots inventory? I am going to be offline for about 4 months and looking to sell all my inventory. I currently have about 44,300 cards on site.

In March, sold 944 cards for $475 with my inventory on vacation for 10 days.

Prior 6 months history of 707 orders at $2658.

Would be looking for $2500 OBO. Would need to be able to get to Lewiston, ID area for pickup. PM if interested in discussing more.

What is the minimum amount of cards that need to be listed for a seller to become relevant ?

I dont know if there is a "number" for that because someone could have 5,000 newly release cards and have strong sales, and someone else could have 150,000 low demand cards and make minimal sales.

What I would say is that I would leave my store on vacation mode until I had at least 15,000 - 20,000 cards available for sale.

Hope that helps.

The site really needs an option for buyers to cancel a sale if a card is missing or mark certain cards as must be present for purchase to go through. It’s getting annoying having the main reason I’m buying from that seller get adjusted after the fact

Yes that's very frustrating. They have said a "key card" feature is coming in a future release. How many times has it happened to you?

How responsive is the site owner to customer requests like this i.e. would they accelerate development if enough complained?

Seems like sellers could take advantage of this situation to bait-and-switch with little recourse.

As a result of feedback here I often reach out to buyers when I’m missing cards. Sometimes it seems pretty clear things are OK, but if I think there is a chance I’ll let them know.

Any other sellers receive the letter from BuySportsCards.com

They want bank account info, before signing up. Seems legit.

I received the notice about it from Sportlots, but no letter yet. Pretty scummy move on how they got the addresses, but even scummier if they are trying to get bank accounts.

The owner of BuySportsCards purchased cards on Sportlots, from 160+ sellers.

Once he received the orders, he then sent a letter to all those sellers, since he had their addresses.

The letter is basically asking the sellers to move all their inventory over to BSC, from Sportlots.
