Im excited that PSA finally logged my order with my Acuna megas but am really stuck about what to do with Heritage Minor autos/SPs I have boxed up for grading.

PSA 10 base are in the $400 range now.

At least two of the people quoted in that article are prominent in the razzing community. Which I find hilarious since so many people on here consider us former and current razzers to be horrible people. If they only know how many people on this very forum razz all the time and acquire large amounts of their collections that way.

I have a question for those stocking up on Acuna. Who do you expect to sell your cards to? The reason for his meteoric climb is due in large part to prospectors and others with a massive FOMO. He doesn't play for LA, Chicago, NY or Boston... I'm not so sure a lot of Braves fans are eager to fork over $700 for a base auto... let alone $2000+ for a Blue Refractor Auto.

Seems like a ton in this thread are stocking up and most will flood eBay at the same time... his call-up. Just think it's gonna be a ..too many cooks in the kitchen type of thing.

it does not matter. fans of other teams will buy his cards if they like him. trout does not play for a large market.

They will sell to a bigger group than even those who bought during the winter and ST. It is hard for us to picture being that we type daily on a forum for cards but we are the minority. The majority of people have never heard of Acuna or only about some kid who might see MLB time that is doing good in some entity called "the minors."

The reason why prospecting works is because everyone here on the forum is at an elite level of cardboard knowledge. So 100% of people on this forum know more than if they weren't on the forum. Of that 100% a solid group let's say 30-40% like prospect cards (still a minority). Of that group maybe 10% or so have figured out a formula to make money from those cards.

Even if my %s are off the point is prospectors are such a small % of the card world, that when a guy like Acuna DOES get called up, especially if he performs, this giant mass group of people start buying his stuff that never considered him before. This is why guys from trout to Judge go absolutely nuts even when we on here think they can't get any higher.

So short answer, we will sell to late prospectors, MLB rookie investors, MLB star collectors, Braves collectors and the really high end go to wealthy collectors and long term investors.

Prospecting works on players like Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger. Acuna hasn't even stepped into the batters box in an MLB game... and he is reaching Judge/Bellinger HR barrage prices. I was in on him too...but I cashed in last week. I've been in this game far too long.

Lots of base chrome 1st, inserts, Bowman’s best refs and autos. I think this stuff goes up significantly for people who want a piece but can’t afford $1000 base bowman chrome autos.
