Looks like their greed has come back to bite them. There was no reason to triple the size of the project except for pure monetary greed. It's amusing to think about the meeting they had at topps and those bozos thought this was a good idea.

They were going to go public. They needed the cash flow to attract investors.

They still need the cash flow. Whether it’s to market themselves to more outside investment, Fanatics, any potential mergers, or just to keep themselves afloat during a crazy time for the market.

I can understand Topps isn’t going to come out and say anything negative about MLB or any of the artists; however, it would be nice to have a statement better than ‘soon.’

I'm not sure if someone has already said this but it would be cool of an artist to redo Brooks' 1958 card. Keep everything the same except make his face look like he's not gagging on a fart.

looks like Panini takes over Q1 of 2022 so about a month and a half before that dream is squashed. I do like the current Living Set release with The Rock and Rocky Johnson

card designs look boring to me. Presale prices are $200 for hobby box which I guess is reasonable these days. 8 memorabilia and 4 autos per case. But AEW is hot now so I'm sure they'll sell

Is it? I don't follow wrestling anymore, but while everyone talks about mlb losing audience, there is nobody watching wrestling vs 20 years ago. I mean it doesn't even work in a post-kayfabe internet era.

How amazing would it be to have a efdot or Pardee insert set in each of the Flagship releases (1, 2, Update, Chromes)? Limited numbered, Pardee Acuna, Judge, Soto, HOF'ers etc. 20 card set numbered to /100. Of course that would require thinking outside the box. Instead we get a Turn Back the Clock, as if that set didn't suck in 1987.
