You can scheme to make it difficult. Houston was irritating Zion after the first quarter because there were people everywhere he turned.

They've also gone away from Point Zion most of the time, which is when he and the team have looked their best. He was in the post a lot in the second half. Though I'll admit, it's tough right now with their lack of shooting.

Yeah, they're so shorthanded right now. I know every team's dealing with injuries, but Pels seem to be down 2-3 starters every night, with a few guys from the bench in street clothes. They cannot seem to get healthy. But hopefully they're getting it out of their system early.

Would much rather see them fully healthy for a playoff push.

Health will forever plague this franchise.

Regardless of the outcome, I'm extremely disappointed by Zion's defensive prowess, or complete lack thereof. Aside from the occasional attempt at a late blindside swat, he's been pretty bad on that end. I've been wanting to see that vintage Duke fire, but it's not there.

Him and BI have both been ass defensively. I still say there's chemistry/coaching issues. They've gotten smashed four of their last five games. Even with the injuries, they shouldn't be getting smoked like this every night.

That's the thing. Certain things can be coached. But I always expect effort. Obviously the entire team's body language is terrible, but that's still not an excuse to just give up nightly. These games have basically been over by the 3rd quarter, and it's difficult to watch. I have no doubts this team will be infinitely better once the starters return, but they have to find a way to weather the storm in the interim or it won't even matter.
