Right now Trump is missing a decent percentage of the republican base (some polls say only 80% repub support). I believe he planned his tone and answers to try and get them back. His answers about the 2nd amend, SCOTUS, and pro-life stance probably helped him in that area, along with being more even tempered. The thing you need to remember is that a large part of the voting public knows so little compared to just some of the people who even read a thread like this. That is why I pointed out last night that it helps Trump more than we know when he calmly hits her on the Clinton Foundation and pay for play stuff, because a decent percentage of voters literally haven't heard it before last night and started reading into it right away.

The payment shows before Trump declared his presidency, and the videos were filmed just four weeks ago. So unless Trump had the idea back in May of '15 that he would one day rely on O'Keefe to create a fake video like this to discredit Clinton and her campaign ... it's nothing.

Or, it's simply a $10,000 donation to someone on the right slant.

My point was the west and east coasts are locked up even before the nominees are picked. Hillary could get arrested tomorrow and she would still carry CA and NY on election day. Trump is long passed trying to win over anyone on the left so I'm not very shocked you think he is a bad candidate and worse than Hillary.

I'm not voting for Hillary and even I can answer that. All it would take is for the Flash to run back in time and prevent Mark Burnett from ever meeting Donald Trump.

There are a lot of things that can happen to make me not vote for Hillary but there is nothing that can happen that will make me vote for Trump.

The GOP nominated Trump because the citizens gave overwhelming support for him as a candidate. I'd much rather have it this way then have the party force their choice and railroad the other candidate like the DNC did.
