Catching up a bit. Didn't want to post for a while till the card listings slowed so I wouldn't attract competition

Really like the AS image and just kept going

Pop 4 so far! Centering was gnarly.

Finally got all my Icons 10s back together

And some oddballs

Thank you for the compliment! The reality is that I've simply run out of rookie stuff to collect (or rather the market is bone dry for rare) and have been encroaching on other years to keep the PC interesting.

I hope these don't end up at the thrift store in 20 years with some kid asking his dad why anyone would grade so many crappy cards

Well, three of the icons were 9s.. those were tough. I also did not list the non-10s from the other groups - just painting a rosy picture. If I batted 1.00 on the others, something would be amiss

In honor of Shohei going beast mode in 2022 I finally got around to sending in a bunch of his cards for grading including some RC autos I've been sitting on for years.
Just got back the results from the few that were in the Express Sub and I'm very happy with them since I bought them all raw off eBay between 2018-2020.
These were sent in knowing most would not GEM, especially the Optics. Just glad to get the GEMS on the Topps and the rest in PSA Slabs.

You gemmed the right cards!! Licensed FTW! Congratulations

The interesting thing about the TC rookie auto is that the hardest version to gem is the base version. Lot of scratches and mono-color borders/corners that made it really tough for non-colored.

Yeah I tracked the seller down off eBay and made him an offer. I'm tempted to crack it and see if I can get a PSA 9 but I'll probably just leave it alone...

ehhh, i'd keep in that slab unless you're set on a PSA flip (which is also understandable). They were tough on all the 1984 parallels from that season and definitely deducted for the white borders. Probably a solid 8. But who cares? Awesome card!
