With the new found importance that people have for double doubles... I can't wait to see how these are covered on ESPN and Twitter.

He's shooting 75% FG.... that's not the usual FG% on a double double... hope the double double is still important.

I think the Nets are perfectly fine for Cam to average 30 and bring them Cooper Flagg next year.

Horrible loss for the Rockets. CHA are pretty trash but Lamelo is due a great season surely.

7 points not bad on 4 total shots. 2 rebounds 2 steals 1 block in 19 minutes also not bad.

Mathurin earned the closing minutes with his hot hands and poise. And that's what we want, we want Math and Nesmith and Nembhard competing for minutes and it going to the ones who earn it. If Math buys into that, even coming off the bench, he might want to stay in Indy for another payoff run.

Coach also fit in Walker, Wiseman (before he got injured), and Enrique Freeman, who may need to step up into a backup center role behind Myles as a rookie if Isaiah Jackson stays on the injury list.

Nesmith played pretty good, got a couple clutch baskets in a row to tie up the game when they needed it... and got rest from the mid-3rd quarter on for the Brunson matchup. Don't forget the Knicks have an extra day of rest. It's certainly not his fault that every time they got it to Haliburton for an open 3 he clunked it (0-8 until the critical one at the end).

What really has me worried is James Harden's late-game old man iso moves and drawing fouls strategy.

I don't think the Hornets are trash, at least not fully healthy. They look like a 40 win team with this version of Melo. Still, bad loss for a team that'll need at least 45 wins to make the playoffs in the West.

maybe a little bit but who are you going to hide Trae on in today's NBA? Nearly every guard can shoot and handle the ball.

No matter who you put next to him you're still playing 4v5.

Maybe it doesn't matter as much in the regular season but in the playoffs you're not gonna be able to stop anyone

At least from the onset, with Onyeka/Jalen/Dyson he's at least got a few solid defenders around him. Trae will never be a good defender, but if he can be a solid team defender you can work around him.

Out west they'd drop right out of the 10.

I bone for Lamelo, and it's time for him to put together a great, full season.

Embiid hasn't played a second the entire preseason, hasn't scrimmaged once after recovering from surgery, yet he's investigating the 76ers because he won't play the first 3 games? What a moron.

I'll take them over the Blazers, Jazz, Clippers and Spurs in the West. So they'll be 10th in the East and 11tn in the West.

Unless you think a third of the league is trash, they just look like your regular mediocre team.

Transitive property doesn't work really like that considering they'd have a harder schedule in the West. Also, I'll take Wemby Spurs over the Hornets all day. Even Kawhi-less Clippers are probably a better team.

It's funny how the top Eastern Conference teams proved their dominance just a few short months ago (Celtics coach Mazzula, who doesn't mince his words, said Pacers were by far toughest opponent). And like clockwork people are now claiming Western Conference superiority.

What registered in preseason is that Lamello Ball looks pretty serious, like he realizes he's on the chopping block this season. If the Hornets fail to progress, sell, sell, sell.

Probably that plus him saying he doesn't see himself playing a second game in a back to back ever again in his career. Imagine being a Chiefs fan, buying tickets, and Mahomes only plays every other Sunday. That'd be wack.
