He's getting PRP injection sunday and will miss sunday/tuesdays games then in 3-4 weeks they will check again.

He can easily just get Tommy John in the off-season and not miss any time if the PRP + rest doesn't work.

I thought Tommy John was a year off? Or is that just for pitchers ?

It's about 6 months for position players. He could get it in October if they're not in the playoffs and possibly be ready to play in spring training games, more than likely would DH until the end of May and then go to the outfield.

Yeah but he sucks….I’m kidding! I’m a big fan as my 6yo son (now 16, time flys) met him at his first MLB game in SF after meeting Gio Gonzales’ parents in stands they brought my son right outside the locker room. To say Bryce is a jerk, cocky, etc is plain ignorance. He seen my son in his Harper shirt and said, “Hey buddy, how are you” and knelt down so he could speak to my son at eye level. That gesture alone is rarely seen and to a kid it is a lifetime memory. His mother was awesome and Harper did not have to do anything but he sat and talked to my son for a few minutes. I’m 52 and not a fanboy…my buddy, Derrick Deese, played 13 years in the NFL in the 90s and I met hundreds of the greatest athletes and I can promise you Bryce is as good as it gets “for kids”. For a grown ass man trying to muscle kids for an auto, kudos to Harper if he ignored you or smudged your ball. It’s about the kids and I seen him first hand with my son and he was all class.

You can love him, hate him or leave him but that kid can play and he is awesome for the younger kids. As much as I wanted to ask for Deion, Emmitt, Jerry, etc etc to sign an autograph something felt weird being the same age as most of these guys and asking for their signature. I can tell you if your family and friends with a pro athlete and allowed to be in players parking lot or locker it is frowned upon if a grown up (ok for kids) bothers an athlete for an auto. They will sign for you but it is not the best look. They are tired, injured and just want to say hello to their loved ones and relax. I will keep the fond memories of drinking triple crown royale drinks out the back of E-40s Range Rover…great times, better memories! It would of been nice if iPhones were a thing in the 90s to share the pics with my kids today but back then no social media, etc. I’m getting up there in age and I collect for the nostalgia of my childhood and to enjoy the hobby with my family and pass the cards to my 3 kids.

Keep raking Harper…these boards love it!
