Its literally getting worse by the day. What gives?
Yes that is me, i’ve tried to work it out with them but all I get is told 3-5 business days or no reply at all. I’m sending another e-mail this week. I honestly would hate to stop using them but feel like they are leaving me no choice. I’ve spent between two to four thousand a year on there for the last 4 years or so, I would think they would want to keep me as a customer. I mostly buy lower dollar cards so I’m taking a lot of cards off their site. If they are making .25 cents a card plus the cash out fees I would think I would be a valued customer that they wouldn’t want to lose over a simple refund but they’ve lost my trust over this issue. Very frustrating for me because their business could be awesome. At least they kept me from buying wax, I just bought the cards I wished to pull directly from them.

Id love to know how much they make a year off the .25 cent fee they add to everything the phantom shipping cost that in all honesty if i resell a card shouldnt be charged list a card for .50 they mark it at .75 and take the .25 that adds up quickly

Are you paying 25 cents on cards you are buying to flip onsite? If so you need to switch modes to where you do not pay that.

There has been many complaints in this very thread about the same thing from other people.

Its pretty obvious they are not doing anything to fix it.

It almost seems to me that they are doing it in an attempt to make people hesitant about sending cards back for refunds.

Some people just wont bother to send cards back if they know this is what they are going to have to go thru to get a refund.

Not that its going to do any good but file a complaint with the BBB. At least it will allow others to see how the service is there.

Any update on trimming stuff? Any buyers contacted? I was looking through all the trimmed cards I purchased from COMC this weekend. Pretty sad.

Anyone else having trouble getting their COMC and ebay accounts to link?

I've sent 3 emails to staff@comc with no response, and messages to COMC ebay's account just generate automatic responses (and they won't respond to replies).

I don't recall having any issues. The trick is that you have to have bought/won something from them on Ebay - have you done so?

Exact same for me.

I´m using the same email for ebay and comc, won a couple auctions last Sunday, Monday and Tuesday but my accounts did not get linked automatically.

The form they put up here https://www.comc.com/Manage/LinkedEBayAccounts to do it manually also isn´t working for me. Did you try that? I´ve tried with 3 different browsers/devices and I´m not getting an email to confirm.

Contacted their CS via email on Wednesday and again on Friday but heard nothing back.

It´s now past their 7 days to pay deadline for the first couple so I´m curious to see if I still get the items or if they will block me on ebay. . Not to mention it sucks for the consignor...

Is the email you use for eBay and Comc the same? If not that might be the issue.

They're making a profit off of it but sending someone to go get the cards isn't free. I'm sure they hire quite a few people to do it and they need to get paid.

Yes, I have won 2 cards.

The form to link accounts doesn't seem to be working.

On that note, I still can´t see any of their items for sale on ebay when I click on their store.
I´m only able to find individual items by following the direct links they put up on their website. So that was great, or so I thought....

Whenever I had to contact them over the years I always got a response by email within a day or two so I don´t think that´s the issue.
But I guess reading some of the complaints here recently I just got lucky up to this point.

Anyway, just woke up to the first two opened non-payment-cases on ebay, more to follow, so this is going to be fun now...

I hope you get resolution to this soon. Yet another reason not to use COMC.

Yes, listen to this! That quarter isn't being "taken" unless you ship something back to you by switching modes. You are either in buyer mode or seller's mode. If you're flipping, you definitely want to be in Advanced Seller's mode....that quarter will mysteriously go away once you do.

Random post while procrastinating at work.

How do you guys view your COMC account? As in are you trying to get the most $ out of each transaction? Trying to buy->flip for profit? Store inventory? Move leftovers from your breaks?

Thought hit me the other day...I don't regret or miss a single card I have submitted to COMC. With that in mind t I decided to throw up 35%-50% sales routinely. Loving the results so far. My balance has never been healthier. I could care less if I'm selling far below what others are asking. This feels like the best way to utilize COMC as the numbers are really starting to add up. Not once have I been like...ya know what, I really should have held out for $4 instead of $2 for that random parallel I didn't realize I had.

that combined shipping is really helping IMO ... this might end up being my best month ever after a rather crappy 2019

That is how I see it 90% of what I send in is stuff that would just sit in the closet otherwise. If it sells it sells if it don't no skin off my back.

It'll easily be my best month ever but with eBay auctions added, it's not really an apples to apples comparison.

I have an OVERALL ROI goal in mind. Everyone's will be different and mine fluctuates each year as I learn systems and attempt to get better with it all. Some cards, it might be only 10% while others I think I may push it and try for 300-400%. But all of those combined is where my ROI goal comes from.

I look at it as making enough money to cover all fees involved, including future submissions, monthly storage and shipping whatever back to me. Plus with the profit, I like to buy PC cards and usually ship back once every 2-3 months once I have enough to get the $5 discount on 100 at a time.

Realizing ANY sale is the ultimate goal, whether you are running constant sales or just continue to monitor and lower prices. I need to get better at willing to take some losses. I finally did it with Judge cards that I let sit not for sale for like a year and a half, hoping they'd bounce back. I posted as the lowest priced again and probably took a -200% loss but that realized cash back in the account just went into new flips and has probably been made up in no time. I'd say I've only taken a loss on about 1% of sales I've done but that's only because others that aren't selling I haven't reduced enough to move into the negative on them.

I also have a non-US eBay account and the only way I can see COMC listings on it is if I set the shipping destination to the US (i.e. for my COMC mailbox address). If I search with a non-US shipping destination set, I see zero listings.

I gather from this that COMC is shutting millions of potential international customers out of their standard listings, and probably from the new auction listings too. This possibly explains why a number of auctions have ended on rather the low side. It may also be a contributing factor to the issue you are experiencing with linking your accounts, if your eBay shipping destination is not the US. Just conjecture on my part though.

I have no idea why COMC have chosen to go down this route with eBay listings. It certainly put me off bidding on a number of interesting cards that ended over the last week or so, most of which finished under what my personal maximum would have been.

Hope you can get this sorted out soon!
