If I win an item on eBay, can I have it transferred to my COMC account instead of having it shipped?

COMC customers will be able to instantly transfer items won at auction by checking out on COMC. More information will be announced.

It's pretty disappointing....mostly because the FAQ page that accompanied the Auction Details Revealed! blog post was so misleading. Essentially the auction part of COMC is a completely separate entity from the COMC that I use to buy/sell cards. I can't use store credit to pay for my cards and I can't save on shipping and/or insertion fees (even though the cards are already there and don't need to be shipped). There is no incentive to bid on these auctions (unless there's a card I really want), and there is certainly no incentive to consign to them. There are plenty of more experienced cosigners that offer similar rates.
wow, that is terrible news. Buyers will also suffer since people really wont want to bid

My, there are a lot of replies to their tweet...I wonder what the holdup is - you'd think he'd have seen it by now?

Does COMC only have 1 of the new, nice scanners? Why are only a few newly added cards scanned with the newer technology?

They are using the good/better scanner for the auctions.

COMC really needs to attach seller names to auction items. There are a ton of sellers I avoid on COMC for various reasons and I'm sure others do as well. I can't bid on any auctions if the identity of the seller is removed, not worth the risk.

Bid with the expectation that you'll have to check out through eBay and then send them to your COMC mailbox address to get them re-processed. They plan to offer this in the future, but it does not seem like the code is complete to accomplish this during the initial phase of auctions.

I believe, based on the COMC auctions thread, that if you click on the item you will get the seller's COMC account name as part of what comes up.

I agree that it's tedious to do that. The other option is to look up their port on COMC and see if there are any auction items tied to that account.
It should be more open, but there are currently workarounds.

There's a few sellers that I hope lose their shirts on these auctions.

Easiest way is to take your list of problem sellers and then paste their name in the URL where *seller* is:
https://www.comc.com/Promotions/eBay_Auction/*seller*/

You can also help narrow down your list by using the Sort by Seller dropdown and then click on the different letters of the alphabet to narrow them down.

They use it on BIN items also but I can't figure out any rhyme or reason a card gets the new scan. A few of my new listings have it, but most don't.

"2004 SP Signature Edition Authentic Dual Signatures 2/25 LeBron James READ Auto
ONLY 2 OF 25 MADE!!!! TOUGH PULL!!!! (COMC)"
So this listing has a title and subtitle, but doesn't make mention that the second signature is from Kobe Bryant? Their title writing team needs some extra training.

I'm sure people would have been disappointed if they announced this was not possible but I can't understand how they thought lying to their customers would be better than telling them the truth that they don't like.

I don't think he was lying. He was probably told it would happen but Tim couldn't get the code and system in place to make it happen on time.

Is there a way to print out the Shipping Contents list from a recent shipment without printing from each page separately?

They send you a link to print a pdf but that is not until it actually ships.

I checked my emails and didn't receive an email with a PDF. I only had an email indicating that it had shipped with the tracking. I also checked around the COMC site and couldn;t find anything there either.

Ok, I figured it out. With previous shipments, the invoice was attached as a PDF, but the new shipment included a link instead of an attachment. Thanks for the help.

Maybe it's listed here but I didn't catch it. You can pay for your COMC auctions with store credit, I easily did so last night after linking the two accounts.

So they are going to take the 10% cash-out fee to use comc credit. Figures.

I'm not sure what you mean. All I did was pay the 25 cent shipping fee for a card that I'm keeping on site and attempting to flip.
