Can we get an update on this? If I can pay with COMC funds and not pay shipping I will be bidding on lots of items, if not probably not as many

Looks like alot of people are having comc issues.

I have a few offers on my port and can not accept any. Called comc told them about it they confirmed its a glitch but don't know why.

I also am unable to make offers on some cards today. I keep getting a 'You can not make an offer on "xxx" at this time."

Well looks like todays a wash.

I have not been able to make offers on ports or buy ports for since Saturday. Sent an email to Customer Service on Saturday, no response and not surprised. A lot of lost sales there. They need to post a quick blog on their site as to what the issues are and what they are doing to fix it and ETA. Some people maybe prematurely dropping card or port prices thinking no offers are coming in.

If you mean the new ebay auctions, you’re not bidding on them in comc. Look at your Bids/Offers on eBay and you’ll see them.

Yes it is the auctions.

On 12/28/19 I went to the auction listing and looked through the 1484 football auctions for cards I would bid on. Find 11 cards on that list and put them on my watch list. When I looked at the item number it showed an area to click on to view the auction.

As of now 1/1/2020
3 cards I can bid on I see them on my Ebay page As far as COMC I click on the Item number and it is not there. Huh? This post is confusing. I found a card I liked on COMC auction. I went to eBay found the card and bid on it. It shows up in my bid activity on eBay and hasn’t gone away. I don’t think you can use COMC credit as of now but I’m not sure about that.

I called COMC yesterday and they confirmed that you could not use COMC credit to pay for auctions. There is currently no way to check out other than through eBay. I talked to someone in customer service and they didn't have any knowledge of if or when this feature might be available. I asked about transferring an item that I won into my COMC account and they said that I could. But when I asked how I would go about notifying COMC that I had won the auction, they didn't know.

Yes it was very confusing on the 28th and part of the 29th. It appears things are smoothing out.

NOW all the cards on the auction list appears to have a start date for the auction. On the 28th and part of 29th they all did not have a start date.

I went to COMC clicked on Browse Then clicked on Auctions Then it will show you all the cards that they have up for auction. (8000) You click on the card you want. It shows when the auction starts or ends. There is a RED area that you can click on to place your bid. This is only on the cards that the auction has started. Yes after you put a bid on the card you can use your Ebay activity to keep track on them.

On the 28th and part of 29th there was other cards also shown with the ones marked .99 I do not know where they went.

I use Ebay very little until now if cards from COMC that I want are put up for auction. As of now it is time consuming and hard to find them.

Gotta love some of the auctions that people put up there. The price per auction has scared me off, but some guys are putting Tre Mason parallels up for auction. Wish I had that confidence, lol.

I want some clarity from COMX. If I can directly transfer these cards to my COMC account with little to no fee, then I will buy a boat load of things. I'm OK with not being able to use credit, but avoiding S@H charge plus processing fees would be unreal

When they first started eBay sales, they had the option to "Local pickup" of items which would then be transferred to your port instead of mailed to you. That is not an option currently. However, if you win an auction and pay through eBay, it shows up in the "Other Shopping Cart Purchases" section of My Dashboard on COMC, likely because my eBay and COMC account use the same email address.

Call them yourself and ask the same questions I already did; it is expected to happen in the future, but not yet. They were not clear at all when promoting this a month ago about when you would be able to check out through COMC. But yes, they do need to update their FAQs to confirm what I've already said multiple times.

I believe I saw there is a $1 S&H (so just handling) charge in this case, but your point remains.

Well luckily, if you want to pay attention to it, you can see the consignor's account information on COMC. And COMC should be blocking bidders that are bidding on their own items or win them.
