While I’ve dropped a few artist sets along the way (Siff, CES, Wotherspoon), there is one I regretted not collecting from the start (Lauren Taylor). IMO, she’s got a pretty strong set going. I had already bought most of her cards, but finally caved and bought the 3 I was missing (Griffey, Gwynn and Seager/Bellinger).

Did you get them for pennies on the secondary market?

Not counting set it and forget it artist set purchases from Wheeler (which may be indicative of higher artist appeal, I don't know), I still have the following "alive" via Topps for the coveted poster:

Blake Jamieson--almost certain to complete
Sean Wotherspoon--I'm the Wotherspoon guy at this point, it's silly not to
Distortedd--yes, of course
Brittney Palmer--I like her set so far, so why not?
Infinite Archives--nothing dreadful, but hanging on by threads compared to those above
Mister Cartoon--I've come to love Mister Cartoon, but not totally loving the Project70 set. However, I have managed to snag some APs, so there's that.

Re: earlier posts today, not really regretting not completing the Matt Taylor set, although none of the cards look bad.

As someone who has purchased around half the set, do I have too many, not enough, or just right in terms of the artist sets still alive?

You'd think Acuna has plenty of down time right now. I also have a pending Acuna auto (Topps Now) and I'd rather just wait for my Acuna auto.

What does the Ohtani inscription say? My Japanese isn't what it used to be...I know it's a standard message he writes sometimes.

Three days in a row with an Ohtani card. Got to love the money grab.

Someone should translate it properly because I started drawing it in Google Translate and for the first two characters this is what it said...

I like the Archie-style drawing of Trout. The content is meh. Staple has been pretty strong these last few outings... interesting

Nothing today fits my collection, but it's a solid day. Lauren Taylor always has nice cards, so even though this one falls in the middle of the road to me for her cards, it's still very nice.

It's good to see Fucci's Ohtani continue the style I more associate with his art after the brief departure from the norm with his Ruth and Aaron. I like that the background is a bit darker than usual to go with the '71 design, as well.

Really enjoy the color in Palmer's Ryan, those jerseys are classics and pair excellently with the '75 design. The fireball fastball is the perfect amount of cheesy for the style of the card.

My favorite of the day is Staple's Trout, so I may end up buying it and ruining my chance at having a purchase-free week. It has similar vibes to the Quiccs Trout, which I also really enjoy. Haven't picked up any of Staple's offerings to this point, if I do decide to pull the trigger on it he will be the 19th artist from this set added to the collection.
