The Fed has also kept the interest rate low for far too long that will also cause another small market meltdown when it finally rises. Add in the losses and failure that obamacare is already experiencing, this mess will be hard for anyone who is President in the next couple of terms to fix. Obama is a great speaker with a lot of personality and swag, but is terrible at actually running the country.
I totally get it on the debt and fed front. Until a President steps in and really tackles the cost side of health care rather than just coverage (my biggest gripe with ACA and why I would have voted it down even though I am in favor of national healthcare) and shrink our defense budget significantly, each president will out do the previous with debt spending. Clinton has been the only one to shrink it in the last 50 years. As far as the Fed, we will never know if the "let it burn and rebuild" crowd was correct in 2008.

Since we are still standing and recovered, I am going with the optimistic approach and say the policies worked for the most part. The trick as you say is to ease the economy off the Fed help and let it run on its own. At least we have pulled back all (most?) of the quantitative easing.

This is the truth.

Pretty much, yes. Polls show that people just really don't like her. Yet, she is ahead in the voting polls because people also don't like Trump. Trump keeps reminding people WHY they don't like him. Hillary is staying out of the spotlight and letting people forget.

Marco Rubio Warns Donald Trump, Republicans On Using WikiLeaks Because 'Tomorrow, It Could Be Us' : NPR

it's really too bad Rubio didn't get the ticket. He was one of the few guys in the GOP that I would have voted for. We may not agree on policy 100%, but i thought he ran with integrity, and that integrity is shining through with this message.

Cheer today guys, because the next day it could be you getting hacked/leaked.

i'm not anti-wikileaks (before you guys jump down my throat) as I would love as much transparency as possible. However, I would prefer that transparency to come from within, not from another government or other politically motivated source.

Neither candidate is that well liked to be honest. Why go out when the other guy almost says something stupid and headline grabbing every single day?

It is a politically savvy move given the situation. Had Trump turned course after the primaries and done the same thing he would actually have a shot.

Not necessarily as the Senate is no guarantee to turn Democratic and the House is a real long shot to flip so if Trump wins he would have the potential of having fast break government. That should put the fear in every left of center person. The thought of Hillary having the House and Senate scares me beyond description.

If the media did its job as a free press there would be little need for Wikileaks.

I agree that Rubio would have been a much better choice for the nomination after Kasich choked the bit.

I would love to see the incredible meltdown when Clinton wins and the Dems take over the Senate. First order of business is to appoint Obama to the Supreme Court.

Obama would take a job that small? I would anticipate permanent head of the United Nations.

In the grand scheme of things, nothing substantial will change regardless of who wins. The overall goal is globalism. None of you will be made infinitely more wealthy than you are now. None of you will have any more power than you have now. Politics is entertainment. People like to believe they can "make a difference".

America will vote and America will get exactly what it deserves from the person it puts in charge.

While I hope Trump wins, it's likely Clinton will get the nod. The key is to put yourself in a position where it doesn't affect you adversely should one person win over another.

Evidence of what, exactly? That the DNC sent members to protest at Trump rallies? Or something more? The video went too fast and maybe was just too small on my phone, so I may have missed something at the end about getting people to talk to the cameras?

The Senate does not have to turn democratic though. Without a super majority no major piece of legislation is passing with either of these candidates.

For some reason I starting to believe some of the posters here were also on the jury of the O.J. Simpson trial.

I'm not even refuting the video, just trying to understand what is being alleged. All I could tell is there is evidence that some members of the DNC were sent to Trump rallies with signs. I don't understand the deeper theory, in part because my screen is too small to read some of the text in the video.
