Something profoundly distasteful about Van Gundy talking about how much money players are going to make if they win this game and then on Tuesday. Get that out of the commentary. Who cares? At least let us pretend the players are competing to win for the love of the game.

The NBA/refs are doing whatever it takes to create the next dynasty team. Unfortunately, they aren't being too discreet about it.

That crap is lame AF fouling at the end. Rules needs to be changed that if you foul, opponent gets 1 free-throw and the ball.

No doubt. Such a great game overall. I can't wait to see the Spurs play Tuesday night

Just because you want to see a game-tying three-pointer doesn't mean the rules should be changed to give the fans that satisfaction. You play 47.5 minutes under one set of rules and you want to see it changed in the last 30 seconds because an 11 point dog is doing everything they can to win??

That was a great game. Sorta reinforces my inkling that SA is the next franchise up. Just need another year or two, or perhaps I'm selling their current chances short. Slemby encompasses the defensive value of most entire teams. They just have to find a way to keep him on the floor.
JDub and Dort can't both have off nights like that. Wiggins may as well have stayed home.

Maybe it's just because my team (Spurs) were in it... but I can't think of a pre-Christmas game that had the level of hype as that Spurs-OKC game *and* lived up to it.
And, as much as everyone knocked Silver and the Cup, I think that had a lot to do with it. Prime time, national audience with no other games (not just in the NBA but pretty much any sport) to compete against, and the NBA delivered cinema (aside from the last 30 seconds) |

The Cavs are starting to become allergic to winning. I only caught the end of the game when they came back to tie and force OT, but OT was not pretty. I'm not sure what's going on with Hunter and Allen. Off game from D Mich as well.

Idk which sport officiating is worse. NBA, NFL, or home plate umpires.

Gotta love the ending to the Suns Lakers game. I thought the Lakers were going to blow a 20 point 4th quarter lead.
Then there's Dillon Brooks and LeBron James ![]() Rough shooting night from Luka. He's had a few in a row now. I wonder if there's any concerns there? Sent from my motorola razr 2024 using Tapatalk

Man the Warriors just aren't getting consistent offense from anyone outside of Steph right now. Tough loss for them.

The Suns should have got that win. Brooks 3 was clearly an and 1 and then LeBron flops and somehow Brooks gets a tech after the play. Then LeBron clangs the tech free throw but then gets bailed out on a 3 point shot and misses another free throw. Must have been a big time mafia wager on the Lakers tonight

Real ones knew. Another casual 29 with little to no setup support. What impresses me most is his ability to create his own shot at all 3 levels. Already getting Reaves vibes and we're not even at AS break.
Cleveland needs to blow it up. Zero team growth and they vastly overperformed last season. Looking like it's going to boil down to the Nix and 8 Mile in the Least. Boston's chugging along off their strong defensive team mantra, but they'll lack the top end talent to hang with the big boys once the dust settles.

Leclutch strikes again with late scoring and clutch block. Almost 41, unreal.
