Yeah I think that's true if you find the right buyer. But like aside from Shohei Ohtani, scrolling through the list of auction listings I don't see any.

See a few cards I wish I had known about though.

I'd definitely call the appreciating Topps Now auto more of a rarity than an easy find.

My guess is that less than 5% of the total auto lineup population - including all numbered tiers - breaks even on the secondary. I'd be surprised if Ohtani purples break even, nobody seems to want purple.

im getting a purple miggy, because it was the last one that wasnt sold out when i got it. but im ok with it. purple looks fine with Detriot, but some teams look would look horrendous (A's, Astros come to mind).

I'd easily buy a purple of a PC card if that's all that's left. I just always see purples being the last to hang around. Admittedly, if a blue that's cheaper is available, regardless of team color, I'll buy it first.

If I PC'd any Rockies this might work in my favor, but when was the last Rockie TN auto?

ok, so, went to the cardinals game today and checked out the authentic store. they had probabbly 10-15 GU balls from 9/14, the 325 Yadi/Waino start. the cheapest ball that was available was throw by Burnes to a non-star player. $325 lol. i kid you not. pricing to be cute i guess? they also had pujols HBP for $1k.

I think I may have to side with Topps' hesitation here. Seeing that no Waino/Yadi balls were there, they prob wanted the moon for them, if they were even for sale.

Thanks for the report - it”s interesting. Topps hasn’t seemed to have any concern before that ball relics actually were thrown by or to the players depicted on the card - all they represent is that it’s from the game in question and I have several high priced ball relics from the 2019 postseason that never came near the player on the card.

I have zero dog in the Yadi/Wainwright hunt but I actually do find it odd that they couldn’t manage $325 when they certainly would have charged more than that for the 1/1 alone.

Am trying to email topps about my cotm not having the rookie logo(for the replacement) but I keep an Error message that states an existing account already has this user name, has anyone else had this problem. I really don't want to have to call them over this matter and wait hours on the phone

they should have automatically sent out a new replacement for you. Also, i think you can just email them directly without having to login to the site.

Yup, I couldn't get it to work but was able to put in a request on a different account. Topps basically sent a lot of people the Error card (No Rookie Logo) twice.

I was surprised that they didn't have one - but I don't actually know the answer to your question. Maybe it'll show up eventually - along with the Mets set(s) now that they've clinched.

Autos have not been available for all teams...not looking good for the Astros if it didn't pop up already.

I feel like the Braves didn't have an auto option last season. I think I was wanting to get one, but it never popped up.
