The only console I've ever done the "wait in line at launch" for is the Wii. I ended up not getting as much use out of it as I was hoping for, but my parents loved the hell out of it.

I guess technically I also did it for the Switch, but that was a normal 10 minute line, not a huge ordeal.

If you guys haven't seen the youtube channel Retro Replay you should check it out...it's Troy Baker and Nolan North (famous video game voice actors...Troy plays both Joel in The Last of Us and Nathan Drake in the Uncharted franchise) playing old video games. They are also playing through the Uncharted series and The Last of Us and they have guests on from the games and they talk about making the character stuff for the games. Pretty cool.

I have been playing NBA2K20 every single day on the PS4. If you're looking for an easy game in the park or the Rec center hit me up because I'm absolutely awful at the game. RichardCranium11 is the username.

I just created a new shooting guard build with an 88 3 pointer rating and I still can't green my shots consistently. I'm using the pick and roll, hustling up on the fast breaks, everything I can think of to get open. It's so frickin frustrating. I just cannot get the timing down to save my life. I'm using Flexible release, Hot Zone Hunter, and Quick Draw badges all on Silver currently.

Just pulled the hard drive out of my old playstation and put it in an external enclosure to offload some less frequently played games. Pretty bad when you have 150gb free but it won't download and install an update due to 'lack of space'.

Next gen better have 2tb standard....

It's such a joke, my ps4 is like 400 gb I think and that's only enough for like 3-4 games, literally. It isn't much harder to have like at least a 1 TB hardrive, Sony are asses for this. Will have to get myself an external hard drive since PS4 hijacks any hard drive you connect to it and formats the entire thing.

To answer the original question I play COD Modern Warfare on PS4 and a little Fortnite here and there on PC, but not as much as I used to. Oh and a little Roblox with my son!

The first two PS4's I bought had 500gb hard drives (little over 400 usable for games). Swapped in 1TB SSHD's into both. Got a PS4Pro probably 18 months ago, that came with a 1TB drive. Dropped my daughter's PS4 so had to replace it (HDMI port got hosed) and the new one had a 1TB drive, my son's PS4 was launched off a table by my inlaws dog over the holidays, hosed the HDMI port so I replaced that one, it too came with a 1TB drive.

COD Modern Warfare is 152GB installed however to do an update, you need enough room to download the update AND REWRITE THE ENTIRE GAME INSTALL (which is why it takes so long to apply the update once you have downloaded it). RDR2 is 100GB, GT Sport is 100GB, MLB The Show is 75GB.

You cannot even fit those four games on an older, 500gb PS4, let alone update any of them. I think I have Borderlands 2 and Fortnite installed on the internal drive. Diablo3, Skyrim, Dirt 4 and Burnout on the portable.

So, what am I playing lately? COD Modern Warfare, MLB the Show (RTTS) and GT Sport.

Thinking about installing No Man's Sky again but MLB the Show comes out in a month so I probably won't bother (if I do, it's going on the portable).

I am concerned about what the next gen is going to come with because I've read both PS and XBox will have proprietary SSD's which means no upgrades (unless they sell bigger drives) and because of the speed they are looking for, I doubt USB 3 will be an option either (thunderbolt might be but find a portable drive with a thunderbolt connection that can saturate the port).

So I downloaded Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil edition and started playing it again. I hardly remember anything from when I played it when it first came out.
