We took the kids to Hershey Park about 2 years ago. They loved it. Might take them again next year. The Park is so much bigger than I remember as a kid. You almost need 2 days to do it now.

I'd say neither.

It's a difference in perception. We've all had different experiences, research methodologies, levels of educational attainment, etc...and these all add up to wildly different ideas.

I don't think it's an issue of anyone being a "young moron." I've seen the same arguments from young and old. Though I do think "scientific stubbornness" is an American issue, if I compare the United States to much of Europe.
