Made my highest purchase to date for a single item. $50...but I was able to use my $5 off coupon and another 10% coupon so along with a shirt I snagged everything for $47 and change.

The big item was a 3rd Generation 20gb iPod classic. I think I can sell it for at least $150. It comes with the original box and all the accessories as well, some of which were still brand new in their package.

I was hoping it would be a 1st Generation as those sell really well, but I'm not complaining.

These cases always suck - but you used tracking and did everything right on your end. The package was sent with tracking and delivery confirmation and, in my experience, you are in good shape.

Let it play out and I would think that eBay will take your side - don't go crazy and call into eBay right away but if you see it escalating or if you get a negative from the buyer, call right away. You should be covered.

Good luck!

So jealous of this find. FYI i got $150 for my deadstock sabres script. I got a ton of hate mail for pricing it that high but sold eventually.

I have a client who sells me tommy bahama stuff and high end polo shirts for like $2 each. Some people just want stuff gone and don't care about the money.

Did anyone see that a bunch of the "YouTube famous" folks from our scene are getting together and putting on a conference? I bought a ticket, it's happening not too far from me, might be a waste of $120 but might be cool (my eBay game definitely needs work)

They are charging 120 to get in? What do you get for that?

That sounds extremely steep.

I thought so too when I saw it on the Facebook group I'm in. I believe that the people putting it on are the same people who run that group. If anyone is interested it is called The Reseller Society and it actually has some good info and is an excellent source of information for items you need help identifying.

Edit to answer you question: I believe you get in to the lectures as well as a light lunch and an informal meet and greet afterwards.

It may very well be steep but hopefully I can pick up some pointers that'll make it worth it. I don't watch YouTube videos at all but I know all the names from those Facebook groups like reseller society previously mentioned. If it wasn't happening near me (in my hometown where my parents still live actually) then I wouldn't have considered it

The eBay convention I would imagine would be a bit different vibe, I ran the transportation for the eBay convention when it was in Chicago maybe 6 or 7 years ago and I remember it was poorly attended and the attendees were not happy generally with the program. They scrapped it for a couple years and then brought it back so maybe its cooler now. I do find that Jason T Smith dude a little insufferable though..

My local thrift shop at a Vintage Sale yesterday. Some things I got included

Metallica and Justice for All 1988 Tour Shirt
Prince and the Revolution Shirt
Malcolm X Vintage Sweatshirt
Harley Davidson Screamin' Eagle Truckers Hat

If you would like to see pictures, and some other things I got, it's all in my eBay store.

Very cool, the Metallica one alone is a cool $100-150 if its in pretty good condition

So I know that ebay annouced all these changes to ebay bucks a couple months ago. One of them was a seller earned ebay bucks program.

Have any of you received a promotion for this yet? Haven't seen any emails/offers for ebay bucks in awhile

So I thought this was pretty cool...I apologize for the large pictures in advance, I'm still rocking photo bucket.

Old school Champion jacket. No zipper to hide the hoodie, you actually have to manually roll it up and use the bands around the buttons to store it. If I have my tags correct, this should be from the 60's?

I guess the Trinity Shamrocks are one of the most well known high school's in Kentucky when it comes to sports.

And we all know what my next question will be.....what should I price it? I'm in the honeymoon stage, but am also trying to be realistic...I think it at least fetches $50, but where should I start BIN BO?

Sweet! Thanks for pointing that out, I guess I'll let prospective buyers decide which high school it's from. I priced it stupid high until I get more info on it.

I'm not much of a hat guy... I just rock my shaved head.
Anyways, I was pretty excited when I picked these up tonight.

Since I see a couple people always posting hats in here, where do you guys thick I should price these snapbacks?

Detroit Bad Boys -- Designer Award Headwear
1992 BAMA National Champs -- The Game (looks unworn)
1997 U of M National Champions -- H Kap
Rusty Wallace Kodiak Racing -- "The Winner" (looks unworn)
MOSSBERG -- New Era Dupont Visor Pro Design (looks unworn)

Additionally back in middle school I was a fan of U of M, for god only knows what reason, but not anymore... I'm SPARTAN ALUM, Go Green!
Well tonight I snagged up a U of M Starter jacket, similar to the one I had back in the day. This one's a little bigger, XXL and full zip, where my old one was a M 1/2 zip pullover.

No idea on price, and I'm not a big race fan, but love that Rusty Wallace hat!

Good luck.

Needing some jeans and such I actually went thrifting for myself. Picked up 4 pairs of jeans, several shirts and a brand new unopened Food Saver Vacumm Sealer that retails for 179.99 for 10.00.

Also managed to pick up some decent shirts to list, there is one vintage Ralph Lauren that should recoup all the money I spent yesterday

Since tomorrow is a holiday, my local thrifts will have 50% off everything - which also means I won't be setting foot anywhere near them. So, today is a regular half-off certain colors.

Found a Joe Rocket XS Summer motorcycle jacket, a NY Jets hoodie, and a couple Nordicware shape pans. Gonna hit one more later today and call it a night.

Are you in Southern Indiana? Probably the Louisville Trinity high school I would assume. Pretty cool find, you might want to try the Louisville area Craigslist, may get a Trinity guy interested.
