Her Gehrig and Judge were perfect - I have high hopes for her Mantle.

As anticipated, she nailed it (though I don't understand the mushroom tip coming out of the side of The Mick's face). Considering the chase card, 10K print incoming. I'm in for one, chase or no chase.

Valentine is a terrible choice but not as terrible as Jerry Manuel.
I changed the Siff card to Manager. Thanks.

We can probably cross Jack Morris off the list of Project 70 card candidates.

Look, I know the Astros are in the doghouse but a Bagwell has gotta happen, right?

Too busy making manager cards to make cards of hall of fame players such as Bagwell and Edgar.

Don't count on it. Imagine how many Altuve, Bregman, Verlander, and Alvarez cards we would have seen if not for the cheating.

The list of Hall of Famers without a single card is embarrassing. And also future Hall of Famers like Miggy.

Not saying for this set, but growing up I liked having manager cards in the topps complete set. Of course manager's today don't do anything, but back in the 80s I liked those cards.

I like them in flagship Topps. Same with stadium cards, mascots, and rookies of 30 year old guys finally getting to play a few games in the majors.

Right. I'm not gonna fight for 2017. I'll defend that team (cause Sox/yankees/royals/and maybe even dodgers were up to shenanigans too). I'm not counting on Altuve cause I get it.

But Bagwell deserves one. Maybe even a JR Richard with his passing. But Bagwell has to have one. Too much of a character.

Can't stand the modern Astros but I'd like a Bagwell card as well.

Gumstick has Jerry Manuel listed twice, once as a 2B for the Don C player card, and then as a Manager for Siffs card of him as a Manager.

I think the Valentine choice is great only because of the disguise attempt is an absurd moment in baseball that deserves to be highlighted.

But I do collect manager cards as well, so its nice to see a new one that isnt another Lasorda or laced with bizarre sycophancy.

While him and Frank Thomas and griffey started to get hurt and lose their 90s momentum, the lesser talent was launching 50 and 60 with ease every year. I don't think Bagwell ever hit 50 and he was an incredible first baseman. I don't think it's fair grouping him with roiders.

Arod has multiple cards. Sosa has a card.

I don’t think lack of Astros has anything to do with them cheating. It’s just none of the artists care about the Astros and the curators at Topps didn’t do more to spread out player/manager/animal choices.

Fucci did a Biggio with his second P70 card, but it didnt do much to get the turn of the millennium Astros train a rollin'
