They played great tonight, really looking like a top 4 team in the East again, and the Giannis MVP campaign should get a shot in the arm after a lull.

That was nasty. I stopped watching after I thought it was over. Looks like I missed the best part of the game.

Monster game from Gianis tonight against lebron and the cavs.
Huge win for them! i think its gonna give a lot of momentum to them now going forward.
even though they almost lost giannis came in clutch at the end with the 3 point play.
27 pts 8-14 14 rbds 8 assts 2 steals nearly a triple double.
he is a machine.

More importantly, he was the leader in last 5 min of game with 5 fouls. Knocked down fade away and long two in last 2 minutes. Bucks were down nearly the whole game, but then closed it out.

After watching him play tonight against the Curry-less Warriors, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. He couldn't make a shot outside of ten feet, did nothing on the boards, and looked lost defensively.

He's dominant offensively in the post, but other than that his game seems to be decidedly average at best.

Tonight was a rough game for him, I will agree, I guess pretty good when you have a rough night and score 23, plus you HAVE to factor in the age

Scroll up a few posts up and watch that video of him dunking, that is the big deal. The guy can do things we have basically never seen and he is only 23 I think.

So, after one game against the best defense in the league.... where the 23 year old shot 10/19 going for 23, 7, and 4..... while the rest of his team went 26/66....

on that one game.... you've determined that he's "decidedly average at best"....

alright man. Agree to disagree.

and not only is he 23. he just turned 23 like a month ago and it is already his 5th year in the league.
i bet no one in the nba currently in their 1st 5 seasons has anywhere near the amount of combined points, rebounds assists steals and blocks he does.

Don't selectively quote me.

What I said is that he is dominant offensively in the post and around the basket, but the other aspects of his game (defense, passing, rebounding, outside shooting) are decidedly average at best.

People say he's only 23, so give him time, but he's now in his fifth season in the league, and he STILL doesn't have a shot from beyond ten feet and he STILL can't play defense.

Your eyes might be failing so I used red to highlight where you should be looking. These are 16-17 stats.
