Id say its literally impossible for the printed card to be more legible than what you can see on your computer monitor. Especially the royal blue side of the card.

The Jeters in this set have been underwhelming. At least there haven't been a lot.

NY Nico's is far and away the best Jeter, though I still don't have the subway tile Jeff Staple version in hand yet. I think the McCormick will look fine and be forgettable. The Claw Money was actually decent in my judgment.

The Pose Jeter is fine. It's an example of a card that didn't translate so well from screen to cardboard, to me. (Willing to venture that the foil variety looks pretty good, though)

I like the throwback to the late 80s topps all star cards. I wonder if they're selling them as a set of 9 or individually and what the price will be. It might have been more fun if each one was 2 different artists.

A lot of interesting elements on the print runs for this. A few of them:

• Will more people buy this subset because it’s only 9 cards, or will fewer because it’s a subset?
• Will they be the typical $20 with 3 days availability or less/more time on sale?
• Will there be a good discount for purchasing all 9?
• How much of a marketing push will Topps do?
• Will the Acuna injury and players dropping out of the All-Star game affect sales?

Combined with actually having 4 active players today, which last I checked already sold out 3/4 APs, it’s going to be a fun week. Also, I’m going on vacation so last post from me for the fun week, lol.

Fucci with faces! Intriguing, but my expectations are low. I like faceless Fucci cards, generally.

Fucci Ruth is a great looking card, probably my favorite Ruth so far, but it is odd to make such a hard turn of the wheel on what is basically card #28 of 40.
