The only card I bought today is the JK5 Harper. I am not a huge Harper fan but I really am enjoying his very colorful and detail oriented set.

Regarding Wheeler orders: From what I understand is if you bought a Artist Set you wont get it until the set is completed. However, the stuff I bought on the same order as that set he hasnt mailed, even though they were singles. My assumption is that entire order is tied up with the complete Keith Shore set I ordered.

Two P70 cards I ordered in separate orders later on he had mailed to me.

I also never got a response to the email I set him.

It’s one thing to give up, another to run a business with no communication. I’ve never purchased from him but lack of communication is always worrying to me.

I do miss his posts from last years Project.

He probably has the biggest stash of Project 2020 base cards, APs, companions, foils, and autos of anyone. I'm sure P70 did not make him happy at all. He has lots of money invested in these and he committed to selling P70 to people, so I'm sure he will fulfill every order. But I know he must be very upset with Topps.

It's fine to be upset with Topps, but not communicating with your customers isn't a good look. Like you said, I'm sure he'll fulfill the orders, but leaving people in the dark isn't a good practice.

I’m not sure what in the history of Topps would make anyone think they wouldn’t continue a popular idea for as long as possible, whether they say it’s a one time thing or not.

If the 90’s didn’t teach us this, eTopps and creating chrome versions of every popular set should have.

It is sad the scope of Project 70 hurt Project 2020 values, but this was destined to to happen the moment Shore Griffey almost sold 100,000.

I would think business on Project70 products is not necessarily overwhelming, but keeping everything organized even if he sold 510 artist sets must be a challenge. And think of all the posters he'll have to store/process!

My experience lines up with 1000 Sport Zonk's:

Any singles ordered at the same time as an artist set--and any cards from said artist set--have not been shipped.

FYI, my oldest single card order not shipped is the Keith Shore Scherzer ordered on April 9th. My presumption is I won't receive a shipment until I order a few more singles (I've been mostly buying from Topps recently, so my Wheeler pace has slowed).

I agree with Oli. I'm sure orders will be fulfilled, but it will happen in due time, and he must not be happy with Topps. Fingers crossed that I'll get some foils from him.

He made good on all his P2020 orders and I have two artist sets ordered from him and I have no doubt I'll get them. That said, it would be good for him to post on here at least say once a month to just give an update.

But wheeler is still selling every single new release at $16.75, so he is at least still committing to buying plenty of stock each time, that he is needing to move for not some crazy profit.

I'm assuming Siff Ford and Cartoon Blue were available when they timed out so the pricing adjustment was probably a good call by Topps.

Today's Nolan Ryan AP sold out and I don't think it would have at $170.

Yeah... I have no doubt my order will be fulfilled. I am sitting on about 15 single card unfulfilled orders dating back to early April(Ermsy Doc Ellis earliest unshipped card). He has usually been shipping every 1.5 months or so which is totally fine with me but is long past that timeframe now

Only really due to Skee's card. Tuesday's pr is an avg of about 1200 and that's with a Mantle. The avg pr is now under 2800 and the avg needed to match P2020 is 2243.
