Not surprised with price surge. Beck's Gibson is brilliant. I see something different everytime i look at it. Love the patchwork / scrap book / 3D effect with stuff blending into each other - it's kind of crazy and busy but the color scheme counter balances that. I'm no art buff, but i know what i like.

I wonder if the artist will be the bigger driver going forward instead of the player. We all think in terms of Trout, but will that matter, will it be Baller or someone else that is greater demand.

The easy answer is:

Spend as much money as your budget allows on any card, diversify, wait two weeks and start selling and rake in the 3-4x ROI.

They are for me. I'm collecting artists sets, not player sets.

I bought 3 tonight (one as low as $34) from sellers who looked like they had the cards in hand, since they are (soon to be were) the last cards in the first 40 that were reasonably close to original price point. Plus it’s Trout.

Let’s hope they still get shipped to me by Monday!

I kind of think when around #65 and up start getting in peoples hands the prices are going to drop or at the very least level out. I think eBay will be flooded with sellers that wouldn’t sell until they had the cards. The prices will come back to earth eventually for these newer cards, it’s got to. But, again, wtf do I know.

I’m actually pretty concerned about the counterfeit aspect.

Some of us have tons of P2020 cards, some have a few, some have all of them, some have the Money Bear...but ALL of us would agree that any counterfeiting is gonna be terrible for this product.
