Interestingly, there were two pair of the black boots and two of the brown - I went back that afternoon and bought the other two pairs as well. Now I have four - my wife rolls her eyes at me...ha!

For the price it was totally worth it - I will likely keep one pair and move three and should do just fine.

Nonpaying buyers are killing me this month. Wish after the buyer accepted an offer they would be forced to pay as if it was buy it now. Will never understand that.

When a buyer submits an offer that you will accept, simply change your Buy It Now price to that amount and message the buyer to let them know that you have accepted their offer and have updated your listing with their offer price. Now they have to pay immediately when they purchase your item.

Only problem there is another buyer could swoop in and snag it before the buyer you made the deal with does.

Some of the Hallmark ornaments they have in stock. Right now are buy 30.00 and get 10.00 toward your next purchase. You can get 4 of the Trolls or Star Wars ones that got for 15.00 to 20.00 each and meet that requirement so you get them basically for 5.50 each. Then next week they are running the same deal in them so use your 10.00 free and you are only out 20.00 for 4 more and get another 10.00 back.

Also if you watch coupons you can do real well with make-up there sometime basically getting 6 or 7.00 bottles of polish or lipstick for less than 1.00 each. Main thing is watching the limits on these items.

so i have a buyer that says he never received my item shipped, a shirt. Tracking shows that it was delivered to the address he provided on 11/21 and lists it as "delivered front desk/reception". He says that he didnt get it and checked with "management" and they dont have it. It hasnt been returned to me. I dont have to refund him do i, or can he file a negative against me? What is my best course or action?

I had my biggest find today and I will likely never find anything bigger.

This one is in excellent condition too! Only two that have sold that are the same as this one went for $400 and $585!. I paid $13!

Seems like you would be okay but maybe ask eBay?

I would not refund him. If he opens an item not received case, ebay will see that the item shows delivered. I have had this happen a few times. Each time, I have called ebay as soon as the case was opened. They looked into it and closed the case in my favor while I was still on the phone. I'm pretty sure the buyer is blocked from leaving feedback when a case is closed in the seller's favor.

I know in at least two instances, EBAY refunded the buyers.

For something like this, would you guys require a signature? I'm thinking since its a $450-$550 seller that requiring a signature would be safe. What about requiring the winner to have X amount of feedback? I want to make this transaction as smooth as possible with no headaches.

Thought the PP limit for sigs was now $750 so, if you do signature confirmation, that is for your own peace of mind. I usually just do signature confirms myself over a set amount.

Requiring the winner to have X amount of feedback isn't even enforceable so, wouldn't even bother.

Yeah, I am thinking of doing a signature confirmation on it just so I know! I have it listed at $600/obo right now so if I sell it anywhere near that, I wouldn't want anything to happen, you know? I'd rather be safe then sorry

Only thing is anyone can sign for SC, we used to have a mailman that would sign them M. Mouse and leave them at the door. Luckily none ever came up missing.

Ultimately if you list it on Ebay, there is always a risk. Some say never list it if you cannot afford to lose it.

This^^

Although there are some here who are very animate that if the item shows delivered the seller is still responsible if they say it never arrived.

And a lost customer on the one you made the deal with. Better solution would be to change the price to a higher level and have the buyer make an offer equal to the agreed price.

They can open an INR with Ebay. They can even do it on items that have not been paid for(had a buyer do it in October on an item they got a strike on) However, if it shows delivered to the correct zip code then Ebay will side with the seller. They may pay the buyer themselves, but you will not be responsible and any feedback they leave will be removed or be blocked from being left.
