I apologize for my lack of precision. I was referring to the resemblance of the snarling mouth in this particular case and not the existence of a baseball face in general.

Has Topps ever made a statement or does anyone have any information on why they do not put Barry Bonds into their 'Project' products? He wasn't in 2020 and we are 300+ into Project 70 and he is nowhere to be found.

4 for the last 44 and heading in to a week that should be mostly artists I don't collect. I took the money I didn't spend and bought some slabbed rookie cards this past weekend. It was actually fun, as opposed to P70

Chuck Styles was the only artist I was collecting and I have to say these last two releases have been a bummer. Last release he goes horizontal and this one he has a different artistic take on it.

That should make it appealing to the young people. |

I would buy that Wotherspoon ARod if he were on the Yankees.

Not sure how many (if any) collect Sophia Chang’s City Series companion cards, but Atlanta is her latest drop. Not a fan of her overall style with P70, but this one is consistent with her P2020 style (which had a healthy number of fans).

I purchased them all through Oakland and received the two bonus cards but I don't think I will be a completionist for an extended set. Is King Saladeen still doing Money Bear companion cards? |

Looking at a bunch of these cards actually makes me miss 1991 Fleer. Remember the Pro Vision cards those are awesome.

I didn't hate 91 Fleer, if the borders were not quite such a bright yellow, it would have been a great looking set.. 91 Donruss was the worst set by far. Not even the Elite inserts can redeem it. But then again, I also did not hate 90 Donruss

It resulted from a reporter accidently referring to him as "Lawrence Mccutcheon" who was a running back for the L.A. Rams in the 1970s, a player thats 36 years Andrews senior. So Andrew and Players and fans ran with it to make him into his alter ego of Uncle Larry, where its Andrew with a bit more 70s swagger to him.

1991 Fleer was fine, but I think the emphasis on the big player name on top with the lines was a bit much. I actually preferred the bigger player last names on the sides of 1992 Fleer and backs of 1993 Fleer. Last edited by vermonty; 06-21-2021 at 01:25 PM. Reason: typo |

Thanks, I actually feel like I could create better ideas for Pardee's set, but I'm no artist. I mean where's my mad dog maddux card? He should have been the werewolf. These artists should hire baseball nerds as consultants lol.
