Not sure how the case damage affect them, but I do know cassettes like VHS and 8-track are trending upwards slowly in value.

It's not a thrift store pickup, nor is it to resell, but I picked up a pretty nice setup for personal use. Last weekend at a garage sale I found an older Bradley smoker that had only been used a few times for $25. I have wanted one for a while, but just did not feel like spending the money on one. Then today at an estate sale I found a stainless steel "worktop" refrigerator to use as a stand/prep station for $75. I did have to order a replacement door hinge and that cost $20. (That particular model is $2,400 new). So, for $120, I have a pretty nice setup. I've got two slabs of baby back ribs smoking as I type this.

This is not it's final resting place. I just set it up there after I cleaned it up.

Was walking through the monthly local flea market today and saw this on a "bargain" table. "Everything on table $5.00" is what the sign said. I picked this up, dropped my $5.00 bill and headed on my way. The seller told me it was in a tub of toys that his kids had when they were kids. Anywho...without further adieu...

Ooze It. Looks like they sell for $75 and up. I'd say I got a steal.

Glad I didn't sell my Hatchimal yet. They seem to still be going up in value a little bit.

Anyone have experience selling DVDs on eBay? What is the best/cheapest way to ship them?

Media Mail is cheap, or go first class if you can. Just obviously make sure you protect with stiff cardboard in a bubble mailer.

How cheap is media mail? never used it

Can you print the postage through ebay just like first class?
Can you use your own packaging?

First class goes up to 16 oz now so you can ship one DVD first-class without a problem. Maybe even two depending on how you ship them.

Put a little piece of bubble wrap inside the DVD case to protect the disc and like the first poster to respond said, make sure you use stiff cardboard otherwise the case will break or get damaged in transit.

The #0 bubble mailers I use (Kraft 6 x 10) are just a bit too small for one DVD so if you do use a bubble mailer, go one size up from that.

I use a small cardboard box, wrap the DVD in bubble wrap and then put two pieces of cardboard around that. This works for multiple DVD's (or CD's) sold in a lot as well.

went to Michael's this morning for some craft stuff and they had $3 mystery boxes of stuff they were just trying to get rid of so I looked in the hand holes of 2 boxes and they were full of those letters you hang on the wall like decorative ones so I grabbed the two boxes and have about 70 letters... gonna try to unload them on craigslist and fb quick

Sold a Florida Panthers Starter jacket though the Global Shipping Program yesterday. This morning, I received a message saying:

"Hello
I bought this item. I request that the article be in perfect condition and condition, that is as if it were new, without any incidence. Breakage stain and wear. If I did not arrive in perfect condition, I would proceed to make the corresponding, claim and return. I hope you keep that in mind.
Thank you."

Hopefully it goes well. I'm a little irritated that a buyer feels the need to send a message like this. His eBay id is vancarri.

This is true. Once it passes Kentucky you're covered.

I get them at Staples ... 12 x 6 x 6 size which is perfect for small lots and box sets, which is most of what I sell.

I recycle empty ink cartridges there (you can do 10 per month for $20 in rewards) so my boxes are basically free.

If you are just selling DVD's in the regular-sized DVD case, I suggest the next bubble mailer size up from 6 x 10 with stiff cardboard as protection.

This might just be an issue of a bad translation or poor English rather than a bad / PITA buyer. At least with a lot of my international buyers, I've found that the buyers who send messages about condition and beg me to pack carefully usually leave really nice feedback and even message me to say thanks if I send an extra like a bonus card from that team.

I don't use the GSP and ship direct. Maybe that is why I have had such good luck with international buyers?

Went in to my local Ross Dress for Less tonight after work. they got in 5 pairs of Nike Snowboarding/Ski boots. 2 pairs of Black/Red Vapens (look like Air Jordan I's), 2 pairs of Zoom Force 1 Boa's, and this pair of all black Kaiju's. These things retail for like $300+. At Ross they are only $85 tax incl. I'm going to toss them on eBay to see what I can get for them.

Nice pickups. What sizes did they have? Might go check them out tomorrow.
