Being reported that mathis deal is almost done.. dont know to what team or for what.. but its close. Dolphins are denying they are involved and that seemed to be the favorite landing spot amongst analysts.

Would make perfect sense for us.. hell id prolly give up a 4th for him if need be.. but a 5th would be sweet.

Jimmy was at vmac today and said that he loved it.. there was a real buzz and sense of urgency in the air.. so if not mathis.. something seems to be going down.

The Bills will pay Charles Clay $20 million guaranteed. The Seahawks will pay Jimmy Graham $8 million guaranteed. Two years of Charles Clay will cost the Bills $24.5 million. Two years of Jimmy Graham will cost the Seahawks $17 million.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

@TerryBlountESPN
The Seahawks probably will end up with 11 draft picks after the compensatory picks are added.

Hawks get 4 draft picks

Seahawks get four compensatory 2015 draft picks | The Seattle Times

Seattle has its own picks in the second, third, fourth, fifth and seventh rounds, and also has New Orleans’ fourth round pick as part of the Graham trade and the New York Jets’ sixth-round pick as part of the Percy Harvin trade.

Seattle received picks for the losses of unrestricted free agents Golden Tate, Brandon Browner, Clinton McDonald and Breno Giacomini. Seattle did not sign any UFAs in 2014 who warranted compensation back.

The Broncos and Chiefs also got the maximum number of four comp picks back.

11 total picks? Based on the track record, I like our chances.

When determining an Elite QB, do off the field things help tip the scale?

I only say this because a lot of people feel Russ is on the cusp, but with multiple nationwide endorsements, and now dating another celeb (Ciara), on top of the Super Bowl title, I'm starting to lean towards him being elite.

Anyone else think off-the-field situations can make an athlete elite?

maybe in the eyes of someone young or shallow. An average family man doesn't even know who ciara is, could care less about commercials/advertisements
, and doesn't pay attention to a players bling/clothes/cars/etc Now if you are talking about off field things like pat Tilman or Wilson's work with kids in the hospital that doesn't make you elite either just a role model... All that matters in football is what you do on the field to earn elite status.

Had to do a double take, but this coupling sounds completely...odd. Ciara just had a baby with that R&B singer 'Future' (if you can even classify it as singing) who is the epitome of down south ghetto thug swag. Pretty much all her previous dudes weren't exactly the guys your father would like to see you around.

Have to admit, after her nosejob her stock has gone through the ceiling, so I'm not mad at my boy Russ for getting in some pre-season reps on that.

Yeah, I'm not sure I give this one long...

Coming down to my old stomping ground for the Steelers game November 29th!! The hawks are going to need a 13th man to stop Martavis and the Steelers offense this year!

Should be fun... if any of you are going, we'll touch base in couple months.
