Opened a weird case yesterday. Out of 6 boxes, only 3 had the expected 1 auto/2 relics. One had 1 auto/1 relic. One had nothing - no autos or relics.

The last box had 2 autos and 5 relics.

Between this and a whole pile of damaged cards, I'm starting to wonder if Topps hired Creed Bratton to handle their QC.

I just sent back a pink Eloy that had a damaged corner along with some other lower end inserts from my box all with the same damage. Followed all procedures they expect when returning something so we shall see what happens.

I would say between 4 to 6.

Man, I have yet to pull any of the good RCs out of this stuff. But only one blaster and 2 rack packs...

Last night though, I got a random hanger box and pulled a Pink /50 of Steve Cishek which is cool for my Cubs collection... And right behind it? A 1984 Jersey card of Trout.

Not bad, but still no good RCs.

Not sure if anyone sent stuff in for damage. I had a pretty bad run of it to alot of cards.

Sent in 11 RCs of the top guys, supposed to receive the replacements today. Will post my results.

No greed here Premium, Topps replaced the damaged cards card for card, as you can see by the 4 boxes received today.

After buying way too many Meijer purple packs, I finally pulled a purple Tatis and Eloy! Both packs came from the same store.

Looking for some advice on whether or not to get them graded. I doubt they would get a 10 from PSA or a 9.5 from BGS, unless I'm being too picky. They are better looking than most of the purples I've pulled, but I think they are going to most likely end up being 9's.

If my intention is to sell them, are they still worth getting graded if they will get a 9, knowing that so many of these purples come out of the package with dinged corners? Would a 9 command a premium price?

Save the trimming jokes for another post.

The top right corner of the Vlade Guerrero Jr card makes it hard to determine if its the photo or corner damage.... Ive bought about 25 raw and not sure how many 10s I have in the mix

It is very irritating. I had 3 returned right at release for "white showing" on that corner. The "white showing" was part of the picture

, not damage. I double checked before I sent them, and when I got them back because I was unsure too. Just another tool to add to the block list.

Topps tweet confirms no hanger boxes in Walgreens for Series 2. No yellow parallels of Alonso, Vlad, and Tatis. Really disappointed. Those would have been nice.

It was mentioned in the Topps QA National thread that yellow will be back for Update in Walgreens. That is a pretty good consolation for not having Series 2 yellow parallels.

Opened two cases and only 1 or 2 out of the total Vlads didn't have that exact corner "damage". Sold the other two I planned on opening right away. Not solely on Vlad but the rate of damaged cards was far greater than anything I've witnessed before. This release, which I think everyone can agree on, was horrific condition wise. It was piss poor in general.
